Mr. Apple

is it too early to jump on the chiefs' bandwagon? no turnovers in 3 weeks, seems legit

Lord Raven

you should never jump on any bandwagon

Mr. Apple

Lord Raven

Raven, I'm surprised the Bears won.

Sorry that I'm off topic. Anyways, I didn't see the game last night, who won?

seems the apple guy wont be telling you how it was bullcrap, ill try my best to replace him?

its hard to make a play on anything when youve been pushed back a few yards, which is blatantly defensive pass interference.

if that isnt pass interference, i dunno what is.

SirBlaziken

Well it may be, likely is.

However, if is isn't PI, it's likely because the guy turned around and could see the ball already.

The ball landed way in front of him, and Gronk was turning around like he was planting to catch it.  There was no way it would be repeated.

You're telling me the best tight end in football right now can't push away an MLB that's like 4 inches shorter than him?  Give me a break.  And if he were to keep going, then he'd probably interfere in the defender that WASNT holding him, so it would be OPI.  It was a good no-call, and most refs are good about acknowledging they blow calls sometimes but this is one they've felt confidently about.

smdh one bad snap away from scoring a touchdown with 10 seconds left.  Forreal, if that snap weren't so low and if we tried to pass it three times instead of running it in, we'd have won that game easily.  And if Tandon Doss didn't drop it on third down, and instead of punting we went for it, and they didn't put one CB on Martellus Bennett (really?  our tallest corner is like 5'10" or something) then we would not have lost that game.  Hoping for a bounceback against the jets.

Raven, the Jets?

Shouldn't be too hard. We've got the Steelers going up.

luke keuchly probably not how to spell it but you get the idea is one of, or arguably the best middle lb in the league. hes no pushover. 235 isnt too much, but its not easy im sure.

Lord Raven

A tight end was primarily a guy with the blocking ability of a full back with the hands/athleticism of a wide receiver, meaning that they have to be incredibly strong.  Gronk is actually incredibly strong and he's one of the best blockers in the league for Tight Ends (contrast to Jimmy Graham and Julius Thomas, who are amazing receivers but they cannot block worth a damn).  He makes a living off of manhandling linebackers and linemen if he needs to.  He is *definitely* able to fight off Luke Kuechly, regardless of whether or not Luke is one of the best linebackers in the league.  At least a little bit, because the way it looked Gronk kept moving backwards and the ball was underthrown by at least 5 yards or Gronk stopped and somehow didn't even move forward.  In other words, it didn't look like Gronk was playing the ball correctly at all.

Either way, I can't see a single way in which that penalty gets overturned because I don't think they'll put that time back on the clock; it was definitely iffy with a ton of different possible results (for instance, Gronk was double covered on an overthrown ball where another receiver was likely to get it) if the supposed holding didn't happen, so the safe route was to call the game over because time had run out anyway.

The same Jets that beat the Patriots and the Saints?  Okay.

Wait, what? God, I need to pay attention to mare teams than Cleveland.

Speaking of Cleveland, they were good when Hoyer played.

jets have had a pattern with wins and losses this year, one week win, next week loss, week 3 win, week 4 loss, so on. they beat the ravens if the 'trend' continues, as they lost last week.
