Your weird habits

Good evening, you bunch of weirdos (love you all really), just a random thought I've had - what random/weird habits do you people have?

I think one of my oddest would be that I almost always stand on one foot whilst combing my hair - I'm really not sure why =/

I have a few.

I never comb my hair, ever. Surprisingly, it looks fine that way.

When I cook, I make extra for school the next day. I do it sometimes, so I don't have to eat sandwiches.

I always sing to myself and hear music when none is played. This is my favorite of my odd habits.

leaving my stuff everywhere - I have left my folders etc. in my classrooms and just walked out at least 6 times this half term. as in, I don't even pack away or pick up my bag, I just leave forgetting that everything that I have brought with me etc. is still in the room I was just in. A lot of people do this, but not to this extent... my teachers worry about my memory.

scratching paintwork/varnishes - a subconscious of mine. the varnish on my desk is almost non existent, the purple paintwork on my phone is all but gone, I have trouble wearing nail varnish for more than 20 minutes etc. etc. etc.

those are probably my two worst but I have way more ridiculous habits.

Mind Role playing Ok, this one's strange. At night, when waiting in the morning to be forced to wake up, at my bus stop, on the bus, etc. my mind kicks into a different gear, I space out and my mind starts a first person role play. I do all the voices in my head and do not utter any of the words aloud. Sometimes I find myself redoing some scenes again and again. Said method is how I make up posts and plot twists in the role play threads I'm ever in here.

I think everyone does that sort of imagination SB2K, just in much different ways. Daydreaming is such a wonderful thing, I do it far too much myself, it's almost my optimistic side trying to show that things can be fantastic.

Alas, it never comes true

As for other habits... usually some come from consistent clumsiness I guess.

Oh! When working hard / concentrating I shake my leg which is kinda weird and actually somewhat annoying.

No, I don't do nail polish and stuff like that. I do that with dried glue, loose strings and thread from clothing, and paint. It drives me crazy.

I do it sometimes as well. The main time is when I'm in bed.

I've got a friend who does that shaky leg thing - it's really weird because it'll be like the middle of an exam and his leg will be shaking loads xD

I also always sing and dance whilst making tea... As in a cup of tea, while I'm waiting for the kettle to boil.

Ahhh, I guess I daydream to some extent each day but not as vividly as others. Most of mine do involve humans except one which is just a nostalgia trip of a nightmare I used to have as a kid

One of my housemates does the leg thing too, I've sorta done it less as I've gotten older but I think she does it more lol

In first year of University I used to be obnoxious with the kettle boiling; since I don't drink any form of hot drinks I'd always just shout "kettle's boiled!" whenever it did repeatedly, stopped doing that though thank heavens.

Making coffee / tea was my contribution to the Sunday dinner at my grandparents house in the summer haha

Wish that was my only contribution to house work though, do a lot of it. A lot more than I ever thought I'd do! Reminds me actually, used to always do housework at Uni with my earphones in and a few of my housemates thought it was weird so I stopped doing that; just cleaned in silence / with speakers instead

and whenever im walking and not carrying anything in my hands, i start smacking my thighs to strange beats like im playing the drums

I count in 4/4 when I'm walking in my head. If I'm listening to music I try to time my steps to the beat.
I have a bad habit of picking skin/nails/spots ect. If I've got a spot I can't resist the urge to pop it :x
