the legal drinking age in scotland is actually 10 unlike england. we start off on buckfast and work our way up to the harder stuff until even absinthe doesn't do anything.

Slightly on topic I was going to attempt dry January this year in a bid to a) save money and b) get back onto the diet thing I was doing pretty well on last year. It lasted 8 days until life happened. Those were the longest 8 days of my life.

I might attempt dry February instead. At least it's a shorter month lololol

legal age in the UK is actually 5 so long as it's not in a pub or any licensed place or something like that. 
i like how the law states that you must not give alcohol to children under 5 unless it's for medical reasons.

i can't remember what it was for, i saw a couple of ads for it and then within the first few days of january they gave up acknowledging that they ever attempted to make it a thing. 
 
also apparently giving up alcohol for a bit just to prove that you can is.... one of the signs of being an alcoholic.

I dunno, I was just going to do it because my friend and her husband were attempting some mental diet that required giving up alcohol and so they were going to attempt it. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I was probably drunk at the time.

I know it's used to treat dental problems.

My general point was just "since when was a liquid drug that induced sometimes destructive behaviour a good idea to give to people as the main attraction to a party?" I was drunk at a Solstice party before (I had like 4 cans of Cider) but I can't really remember anything except feeling really groggy and ill the next morning and then really needing the toilet.

Drinking just doesn't seem like the best source of fun for someone my age or less.

ok so i'm gonna tell you all a story about karma

so i was walking out of the hall today and got called a rather nasty name, something i can't actually repeat on this site but the first part of it was 'fat'. yea ok i know i'm not a twig but that's a little rude, what'd i do to you stranger??? i mean i know you're a coward stranger but there's no need to say such things when you're walking past someone lmao are you scared?

yeah so anyway they immediately tried to go into the closest entrance to the hall, the one where students are NOT allowed to enter as it's actually the exit.

they immediately got sent out again. it's such a minor thing but they ended up having to go the long way (and when i say longer i mean way longer like they'd have to walk around and through a building just to get to the entrance they're allowed in) because they tried to go another entrance they weren't allowed in. hahaha. minor karma but it turned a bad situation (b/c my self esteem is already low atm so it didn't really affect me that much) into a fairly amusing one because i could chuckle at them and they'd know it

so yeah, but i'll deal. could have been worse! i could have ended up losing control and '''witnessed''' their face meeting the floor......... multiple times
