Nobody was mad about Peyton Manning when he obsessively yelled Hurry Hurry all the time last year, why did the Omaha thing attract so much attention?

mmhm his snap count last consisted of him either saying "Hurry hurry" or "hurry set hut" or something similar.  Lots of players use Omaha too because it's a very distinguishable word (hard to confuse it with others when theres noise)

I also guess you didnt appreciate last years divisional round as much as most of the league did?  On top of it being the greatest game I've seen in my life and one of the best games ever, it was also a huge upset.

I like Omaha, it's the name of a play too. So, it's not completely useless.

bread how does it make you feel that your quarterback is less buff than a 40 year old kicker that used to be on your team???

I'll be starting a thread for the draft soon. So, what grade would you give your team in FA and why?

Cleveland: B-

Positives: Ben Tate, although he's no AP, he's better than what we used to have and more reliable that what we have now. Front office changes, only Haslam (Correct me if i'm wrong) is left of what some have deemed "The Three Stooges". Hawkins is a slot receiver, which I heard we needed, Bess being a bust. Best part, say it with me: Weeden was released!

Negatives: Releasing D'Qwell Jackson and T.J. Ward, they were 2 of the best players in the team last season, period. They were replaced with Dansby and Whitner respectively (correct me if i'm wrong on the former). Whitner being thought of as not as good last season by some (true) and is now being payed more than Ward was. Campbell was a good backup, even if he only won a single game (Raven, not to sound like a jerk but, you mad bro?), he was released. Guess who we're going for, Grossman.

Smartest move: The signing of Ben Tate. Everyone seems to be liking this. Now instead of drafting an RB early in the draft (damn, no Cleveland x Carlos Hyde shipping), they can focus on other needs *cough cough QB cough*

Campbell being released is a good move now?  He's a good backup.

That's the word, backup. You people in baltimore have a good QB, over here in C-town, Hoyer may be a good starter, but we don't know. Campbell was starting most of the season, and look where it got us. Then again, he's better than Grossman. Allow me a moment to switch some things.

Speaking of kickers, I miss Dawson. He was one of the only reliable players on the team before he signed with 49ers before the 2012 season.

Point is that when your first string (Hoyer) or whatever rookie you draft goes down, you want someone to fill in the gaps between injuries.  Campbell is quite good at that for a few games.  It also doesn't help that the team as a whole had a huge meltdown halfway through the season.

All I have to say is burn.

So, how'd FA treat the pats and ravens?

We re-signed Pitta, Monroe, Daryl Smith, and Jacoby Jones to 4-5 year deaps for relatively cheap.  Pitta was 6m/year, Jacoby was 3m/year, Monroe for 7.5m/year, and Daryl Smith for 4m/year.  Which is good, because Daryl/Pitta/Monroe are very versatile and Jacoby is a great return guy.  Also signed Steve Smith for like 3.5m/year, which is good because we need a receiver like that.

Acquired a Center from the Buccs just now (who is miles better than our current one - and our current one is worst than a couple backups) and signed a Free Safety to a ridiculously cheap deal even though we probably won't use him.  Lost Corey Graham who was a slot/nickel corner anyway (who I will forever remember for his picks against Peyton Manning in the playoffs last year), and Michael Oher who wasn't ever good.  (Corey went to the Bills, Oher went to the Titans).  Also lost Art Jones who is an above average 3-4 DE, was not a huge loss but wasn't particularly hurtful to us to lose him.
