All I have to say is, screw HP Ice on Tangrowth, and screw competitive on Milotic.

That was actually really well played, good job. You may want to think about the amount of special attackers on your team though, just as a bit of advice, but you did very well. :)

subpetaya empoleon is still viable

Especially paired with Garchomp, although this is not the typical use of SubPetaya. Finally, someone who uses the set, as I do!

Really enjoying this new team! (Although that wasn't the most exciting game)

I'm running a lead (smergle), a duel screener/troll (Xatu, a.k.a. Dr. No), a spec wall (milotic), a spec sweeper (ninetales), a phya sweeper (gallade) and a physwall/trapper/troll (tangrowth). It's mostly spread out. But thanks.

So I finally got over my nerves and battled someone on Showdown.

I mentally kicked myself when I sent Charizard out on stealth rock, but that still went well.
When it comes down to it, the difference between healing and necromancy is timing.

dragoncat is new, but she's got potential. 2/3's of my team.... oblitherated. If I hadn't set up, she'd have got me. Rich, we've something here!

Yes, we have something new here... a new shipping!

May I ask to your partner, the Dragon-Cat, why she uses Mew and Mienshao?

I'm offering suggestions to her, and she's not my partner.

Edit: Found out the UU pokemon were Rich's idea. Sorry bro, not trying to undermine you! I told her to keep trying with this team.

I actually helped her build that team, as a sort of trial team, with a balanced team in mind. Mew provides support in the form of Defog and a few other moves. You're getting pretty good, Dragoncat. Keep practicing! :)

^You do know that magic bounce Espeon does the same, doesn't remove her hazards, and bounces status too, right? Also it has the same typing. Just a penny for your thoughts. Not trying to tear down your work.

If I asked about Mew is because it is very unpredictable.

Mew is way bulkier, has U-Turn and Baton Pass. And has no problems first defoging and later Setting Up, although this is kind of messy. Yes, Mew lacks Rapid Spin so bad.

Espeon is for more offensive teams, and, if you are using Ferrothorn... tends to be better. Hmm... And Charizard needs Defog if one is not leading with it... ARGH! HALP!

Espeon isn't reliable enough to keep hazards off the field, and Mew's bulky enough and unpredictable enough to keep them off the field.
