looks like Sceptile and Swampert are indeed getting mega evos! Diancie appears to be getting one too meaning we will be able to catch it fairly soon - all according to CoroCoro scans on other websites c:

Sceptile is Grass / ElectricI MEAN DRAGON and gets Lightningrod.

Swampert is Water / Ground with Swift Swim.

Diancie's Mega, however, has a ??? ability...new ability, possibly. Still keeps the Rock / Fairy typing too.

Looks like Team Aqua are more pirate-ish than before...

May is more...I dare not say, whilst Brendan looks...a little high.

I don't like mega swampert yet, but I think it will grow on me. I like mega sceptile, but not enough to evolve my Grovyle.

Can any Hoenn experts figure out where Steven is and what that means for whether he's champion or not?

Also Primal Groudon/Kyogre sounds cool.

MegaSwampert is like: "Do you even lift!". I have big hopes on this one, since it works wonders in any weather (bar Hail). A new form of combat for it would make strategies around it even more unpredictable, and I like this.

MegaSceptile was already a Dragon (in the Egg Group). But please, give it DECENT Spacial Attack and Decent Moves.

I wonder - might they give us Gen II or IV starters like they gave us gen I ones in XY? It'd be the perfect opportunity to add more mega-starters, and we haven't had those starters since gen IV, so it'd be quite nice to have. No real basis for this other than it was in XY, but I don't think it's entirely unlikely. Maybe a gift from Mr Stone?

Look at those FISTS, man. If I had to have one pokemon to back me up in a fight, it would be Mega-Swampert, any day of the week. You guys can keep all of your Arceus/Giritina/Blaziken or whatever, I want THIS GUY right here.

Speaking of Legendary Pokemon, it looks like it's confirmed that the box art of Groudon and Kyogre are a special form of mega-evolution called (oxymoronically) Primal Evolution. I hoped they would look a little more different, but they do look pretty damn awesome nonetheless.

 Whoa, shoot... Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were released here in 2003 and that's given Swampert 13 years to make some gains.

You know what would be pretty cool? If like in Emerald you have to call on Rayquaza to sort our our fighting Land and Sea Legendaries and we get that awesome cutscene in Emerald recreated in 3D (3D, 3D Models, you know...) and made even all the more epic if like Groudon and Kyogre, Ray Mega Evolves/Devolve prehistoric/whatever to take on those chaps.

Yeah, most likely Groudon and Kyogre are version exclusive, but one on one would still be epic enough... X3

I don't think mega scepy will get much gains in spa because of lightning rod but maybe an attack boost.
Though mega swampert looks scary. It looks bulkier and slower (i think they will take away some speed points for swift swim) but major attack and defence gains. Like major.
