Mega Slowbro and Audino confirmed!

In a very unexpected twist, the Korean Pokemon site accidentally revealed Mega Slowbro and Audino.









Slowbro gains Shell Armor and appears to be swallowed by Shellder.

Audino gains Normal/Fairy typing and has Healer.

What do you think of these new Megas? Personally, the designs are alright for me, but the abilities are downgrades, as both preferred Regenerator before Mega Evolution.

Poor Slowpoke, even after evolving from being bitten in the tail and forced to carry that huge living muching shell for the rest of its days, it doesnt get any better when it Mega Evolves. The poor soul has the look of "Oh god, just kill me now!".

But hey, on the bright side, the 5th Gen's finally getting some Mega love. Be interesting to see what 5th Gen Pokemon can now Mega Evolve too (The 6th I'm guessing will be saved for either sequels/3rd version, or even the 7th Gen...)

Mega Slowbro looks ridiculous

Mega Audino on the other hand looks fantastic, I'm surprised with how they've gone with it but it looks very impressive

Edited the first post, they weren't showing up for you because you must have the filter set to block the toilet seat, which was the only site I could find the pictures on at first.

Anyway, I love Mega Slowbro, just because of how adorably derpy it is. It doesn't even realize it's being eaten by Shellder. xD

Mega Audino looks cute too, but I'm not overly attached to it either way.

Megabro has a niece against critdra, as well as being one of these Megaevos that can think "when should I megaevolve?", not to say it avoids some h4x.

Megaudino, on the other hand, looks beautiful... and has much potential in Doubles and Triples. Don't expect to see it in singles.

it gets a move to devolve your pokemon as payback for all the times you kicked its ass to level them up

This is the only thing that has piqued my interest in OR/AS for a while, Audino looks brilliant. Slowbro looks...well, it's a unique choice of Pokemon to mega evolve. I'm glad they're not just focusing on the fan favorites/important pokemon

Ok, here's my judging:

Slowbro

Design: Ok. Meh, I hated it at first but it's kinda growing on me. The derpy face is kinda cute.

Ability: Prevents crits? No. Just no. They don't happen often (to me at least), and gaining health on a switch is too good to pass up

Audino

Design: Beautiful, downright gorgeous. That's all i've got.

Ability: Well, it does help in doubles and triples, but regenerator is still better.
