Ground: I'm not particularly fond of Ground types, but Flygon has always been one of my most favorites.

Psychic: Gardevoir. He preforms well in battle and I like his design. And YES, I CALLED IT A HE. Gardevoir is male in my mind.
Rock: Lunatone. .-. Psychic Moon. I love it's shiny coloration and it's cry. It reminds me of something screaming. xD
Steel: Aegislash
Water: Azumarill brings back a lot of memories, while Milotic is more useful and is one of my strongest Pokemon... I don't know...

eh, it was a normal type for 5/6 generations.  I'm sure it can still be a favourite normal type out of association.  I mean if I go back and play Gen V is is it no longer considered a normal type?
