The best skills I've personally developed over the past few decades include:

In my humble opinion, of course :) !

I learned to drive a car pretty late as well, I think around 21. I was beginning to think that I would never do it, so I forced myself to start learning again. I was really put off by the lesson rates and never strung more than 5 or 6 together before. I had passed my theory already and had been riding a motorbike for 3 years, so had good road awareness, but I was much more nervous doing my car practical test than I ever was on a bike. I had one moment where I thought for sure I had failed, but I passed with only 7 minors and that was pretty much the best day ever.

More recently, I got help when I needed it instead of ignoring advice and not talking to anyone.

Rooks

It's not the best skill I've ever developed but I'm proud of they way I fool everyone with my Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl trick as I have memorised the first three/four scenes of the script and literally everyone I know is absolutely convinced that I do in fact know the whole script. It's quite sad but it always makes me laugh when people believe it.

People who can drive make me feel so inadequate. Even getting into the driving seat of a car made me feel physically sick and any time a car was anywhere near me I was so frightened I'd get close to tears. I finally cracked when my instructor at the time thought it was a good idea to make me drive along a narrow busy road during rush hour and, surprise surprise, I nearly crashed. D:
