The eclipse!!

Okay so if you haven't already heard it's probably too late and I forgot to post this til now (like, ten minutes before it starts lmaooo) but there is an eclipse today that will reach totality north of the Faroe Islands! So sorry US folks, you'll have to catch a stream or something!


Currently it's very bright at home, I just got blinded by thesun opening my curtains and I'm incredibly pumped for this to start. I also may be skipping class just to see it lmao

Don't really see why everyone's so hyped about it tbh, I thought it was kinda boring for all the hype. I mean it looks kinda pretty, but it doesn't do anything xD

we had class + assembly so we didn't actually get to see the sun but our maths teacher did stop halfway through the lesson to go 'sorry.. i just.... have you seen how dark it is out there?' and we all simultaneously looked out of the window

the image is about 90% white cloud and the tops of some houses so same thing really

Twas pretty good in Shrops but it was better watching the Stargazing event.

I love astronomy so this week has been fantastic for me. (That's also why I haven't been on much lately - too busy with my telescope)

I did get pictures but they're really rubbish and out of focus because I was too busy just gawking.

Went dark in the Black Country and brightened up again. Couldn't tell if Eclipse or British weather.
