Favourite Starter?

I want to train a Chespin. It has been a while since a grass type caught my attention.

I definitely think it's too early to decide a favorite starter when I haven't even played the game.

Anyway yeah Chespin is my favourite atm but I'm not overly taken with any of them - but then, I never really am with the basics. I'm looking forward to the final stages!

I just hope fennekin doesn't turn out to be a fire/fighting type in his final evolution.

Fennekin is the only one that doesn't look horrible.

Horrible? I don't think so. I mean I don't like Froakie a whole lot, but that's just cause frogs aren't usually my thing. I might wait awhile after the games are released to sneak a peak at their final evolutions. Course I think I might start with Chespin.

Froakie looks like an exaggerated anime frog, I dont like it too much.  I do like Fennekin and Chespin though.

The more I see Chespin the more I like it, though Froakie still grabs my attention more. Tbh Fennekin is just too much like a ~kawaii fox pokemon~ to be interesting.

Fennekin: Not bad. It looks all right. I would name it Heineken if I wanted one. So nice how Fennekin sounds like Heineken.

Froakie: Ugly! This thing is disgusting! I can not love this thing as much as the people who think it's a "French delicacy" or those who say "Froakie <3!" It's impossible for me to love it.

Chespin: I'll take it. Fennekin's too popular to make a good trade. I'm fine with Chespin.

My favourite is Fennekin. I got no special love for any type as such, but I still like Fennekin.

Somehow, I have a feeling Froakie is gonna surprise me. I don't like the idea of another frog-based Pokémon, but I think it's gonna have some badass final evo.

And Chespin? Meh. Mix and match of previous Pokémon. One thing new about Chespin is the fact that it's the only mammalian Grass type starter.

     ^ Hey, that reminded me of something. All Fire type starters are based of the Chinese Zodiac, All water type starters are based of of animals that live in the water and on land, and the grass type starters are all based off of dinosuar-like things. So chespin may turn out to be someting completly and totally unexpected!

Chespin is a mammal. Dinosaurs are reptiles. Not much of a connection.

And the Chinese Zodiac had porcupines? I never knew.

I'm pretty sure Cyndaquil isn't a rat. It's more like a shrew/echidna/porcupine kind of thing. :S
