Cheers, I knew theoretically how to do it, but because I'm fairly behind I just wasn't putting the time in. I really should work on getting that Oval Stone to speed things up - think waiting for eggs is what's REALLY making things tedious!

Just slightly off topic, can I check, the max EVs you can add to a stat has been adjusted to 252 for Gen VI right? So I can supertrain a stat all I like without worrying about over doing it?

SpA is still useful for breeding purposes. It can be passed to the things in that group that actually need it.

I'd certainly be interested in any of those 3, so we'll just have to arrange times and which specifics we'll want to switch. Will need to think which ones would be most useful.

(I myself bred an utterly perfect 6 IVs one that's Modest with Compound Eyes so I'm super happy for the most part)

EDIT: I just got another one that is 31/0/31/31/31/31.  You think I should be paranoid and run that one instead because of Foul Play or should I keep what I just got

What breeding route did you go down to get the scythers? I've been considering trying to get a decent one myself but the bug group is pretty badly cut off from all the others and I can't get scythers in the safari. D:

^I don't know if you already knew this, but every egg group (bar water 2&3) are connected to the Grass egg group, so if you can get a flawless in the grass group almost every pokemon within 2 steps (Grass -> Grass/their egg group -> The one you want)

Oooh, that's extremely useful to know. And IIRC budew evolves into the grass group, so I can spam catch them with 3 perfect IV's. Thank you, wise sage.

The only problem with Budew is the fact that they need to be evolved (by happiness) in order to be able to be bred with.
