Also, it really helps to have a friend you can revise with! It's how I've managed to get myself into revising. And it also helps to see how you learn best. Some people work best visually, others via audio etc. If it's stuff like science, you might find that you revise (or remember, lol) best knowing why and how things happen. Everything suddenly made so much sense to me in Chemistry and Biology when I found out why various things happened, such as the difference between covalent and ionic bonding, and why they were called that.

So yeah, you should make things fun, and definitely go through past papers! That's helped me a lot, especially if you're on the AQA board. They're very nitpicky with their words.

Are you interested in spriting, or improving it?

Our maths teacher didn't teach us the second half of the maths exam and told us it's our fault for doing it wrong.

Expect what you don't expect.

God, I think we literally have six exams AQA and six Edexcel or something crazy like that - I'll check. Thank you for the advice, Sizacu.

I trust my maths teacher more than I trust 99% of the teachers I've ever had, so I think I'm pretty safe there. I'll keep that in mind for Spanish, though.

That's not too bad, if that's all you've got ^_^
Edit: oh wait, were you talking about science or overall?

I'm doing 2 languages also (French & Russian), and I can say that it's not too bad. They have the same skills in common, and so revising for one makes it easier to revise for the other.

Just make sure you don't mix your languages up!

Overall!

I'm mostly okay with it - I chose them, after all! It's just when suddenly there's an influx of work and you just kind of: 'I could have avoided this.'

Eh, it's always the way. You don't realise just how much you go through until you have it all plonked in front of you.

It's incredibly daunting, but as long as you have a plan, you'll do fine!

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

I wish I could re-do my GCSEs :(

Speaking of exams, I'm coming up to my Mocks quite soon. However, I've been told two things...I've been told they're going to before Christmas and I've been told they're the first week back...I've been told my Maths is on the 14th of January, so I'm sure they're post-christmas.

Either way, I've started nailing down C grades and B grades, which should mean I'm doing well. I was 5 marks off a B in my last English exam, so here's hoping I can nail that B...or an A. English is probably my only subject with a target grade that is below an A, as the rest are As, which is, frankly...ridiculous!

I'll do fine, I'm sure. Though I need to get revising. NOW.
