trading between x and y

lol guys dumb question but... how do we trade between x and y? as i bought an extra 3ds

Turn the internet on with both consoles (in-game as well, on the bottom screen), and you should see the other game as a passerby I believe. Click them and offer a trade, then accept the trade on the other console.

To clarify, you just need the wireless on, you don't need to actually connect to the Internet.
