How's my team for my casual playthrough of Y?

Greninja - Frogger

Venusaur - Thorn

Gallade - Chrom (Yeah, Fire Emblem fan... and a nerd. XD)

Aegislash - Falchion (Still a nerd. XD)

Salamence - Minerva (Not a reference to a Roman goddess... a reference to - you guessed it, Fire Emblem XD. Minerva is a character that rides a wyvern, and in another game, the wyvern of a different character is named Minerva.

Garchomp - Brutus/Enobaria (Depending on what gender I first find when I find a Gible. And yes. Another outside reference. NEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRDDDDDD!)

I remind you, this is a CASUAL gameplay. I'm no hardcore perfectionist gamer. So what do you guys think?

Richard and Blaziken

Seems fine for in-game. You've got a good mix of types and should be able to cover most of your bases. Salamence is a bit redundant alongside Garchomp - consider something like Florges in its place to round out your coverage a bit better. If you'd like, we can help with movesets as well.

I see you're a Fire Emblem fan too...  (My entire casual playthrough team was named after Awakening characters)

I do agree with what Richard and Blaziken said.  I would put a Fairy on your team instead of Garchomp if you didn't already find it and if you wanted to get our opinion.

To be honest though, it's an in-game team.  If you leave the EXP Share on you don't have to worry about anything.  I'd just roll with it personally.  My in-game Y team had two water types and it ended fine and it won a few battles against people thanks to the fun combination of Aegislash and Florges being super effective against most of the pre-PokeBank legends (minus Moltres and I guess Zapdos).
Gary was here.  Ash is a loser.

Garchomp - Brutus/Enobaria

I'm pretty sure this is the only reference you make to a series outside of FE.

Anywho, it's ingame, you should be fine. I played through with a simisage and two fire types and only lost one battle (a lot of my pokemon were fainted and this guy came in and took me out. Damn you reflection cave). Two dragon types are a bit unneeded, and a fairy type (as the users before said) would be a good edition. I used a sylveon and it was pretty good.

Oh, believe me. I make plenty of other references. You should see my PC boxes. XD

Yeah, I know. I'm just a real sucker for Dragons. XD

And I would not be caught DEAD with a Fairy type, not even for the sake of my team... I just do not like them one bit...

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
