Decided to cut across the beach to get to university quicker today since I was busting for a wee.
Sand is horrible. A lot of the sand looks solid and flat but the moment you step on it, you realise that it's soft sand with a thin layer of hard sand on top so that was horrendous to walk on and I also stepped on something slimy whilst thinking it was a rock with a plastic bag stuck to it so I'm just glad I was wearing my running shoes since I think it was a jellyfish and I would have potentially torn it open with my other shoes.
On the plus side, I got to uni 10 minutes quicker and managed to get my wee. The only other toilets at the bus stop are the ones you have to pay for or the ones that nobody knows about where you'll be stuck using a urinal 100% of the time and you get creeps who look at your apparatus.
Why can't there just be nice toilets in the city? We're spoiled for choice here but the moment you get into the city it's like... why aren't there any toilets anywhere?
Also had 3 hours sleep and combined with a 20/30 minute power-walk across the sand and 30 minutes with HiiT in the gym, I spent those three hours and had to come home because I was falling asleep in first lecture.
- Sand is horrible.
- There's a lack of public toilets in the city
- Lack of sleep
