Miitomo is here!

Nintendo's first foray into mobile gaming is here! Miitomo is not dissimilar to the 3DS game, Tomodachi Life, except it's more Tamagotchi than Tomodachi.


It was released today (31st of March), and so far I've spent about 10 minutes of it. As usual, the facial recognition and mii writing software of Nintendo still sucks absolute butts



Unfortunately like most mobile games these days it's essentially pay to win - the more mii coins you have, the more stuff you can buy, the quicker you get through the "game"


It's not much, but it's pretty cutesy. Not bad for Nintendo's first.

Right the only way you can add friends is if you're friends with them on facebook or you follow each other on twitter. The QR code just adds them to the game?

Sylar, wait till the triangle thing is in the middle or just before the middle, then drop your Mii. I've managed to get my cat companion that way without moving my Mii (:

This game was pretty cool for a few weeks and then it dropped off. I more or less quit playing since I got bored with it, but I still have the app installed on my phone in case I get bored and need something to do for a little bit. Do any of you still play it?
