Description: 5'5", Short black hair, blue shirt and shorts with black trim.

History:  Vance was born in Vermilion City and spent his early years living there.  His father is a great Pokemon Detective and was always away on cases.  Because of that, Vance rarely got to spend time with him, but he always wanted to be like him.  When Vance was 12 his dad sent him to a detective academy in Celedon City where he studied the mysteries of Pokemon for 2 years.  Recently, his father disappeared while out on an important case. Vance immediately left the school and now searches for any clues on his dad's location. He's had a few encounters with a strange organization who he believes may have something to do with his father's disappearance.

Sneasel (Female)/ Poke Ball
(Slash, Leer, Quick Attack, Faint Attack, Fury Swipes, Icy Wind, Metal Claw)

Vance met Sneasel when he caught her stealing from people in the Celedon game Corner.  He attempted to capture it with a Pokeball, but didnt succeed.  Having failed to capture it the conventional way he used his brain to outsmart it.  Having never been bested by a human Sneasel joined Vance on his journey.  Vance uses her Keen Eye ability to spot clues that others cant see.


Pokemon At Home


Machoke (Male)/ Poke Ball
(Karate Chop, Leer, Low Kick, Seismic Toss)

Vance captured Machop while back in Kanto. He is strong, loyal and a tough battler. He is even more competitive as a Machoke.


Houndoom(Male)/ Poke Ball
(Tackle, Howl, Bite, Roar, Smog, Feint Attack, Ember, Fire Fang)

Vance met Houndour when he found it in a burning building and it evolved into Houndoom after a long time of companionship.  After evolving it has learned a few Fire-type attacks.  Houndoom is a loyal Pokemon and uses it's great sense of smell to track people.


Farfetch'd (Male)/ Pokeball
(Cut)

Vance caught Farfetch'd when he was to young to have Pokemon. Farfetch'd was Vance childhood companion. Now Farfetch'd is his trusted travel companion. He dislikes battling and, therefore, does not.


Noctowl (Male)/ Poke Ball
(Peck, Foresight, Confusion, Hypnosis, Zen Headbutt, Reflect, Air Slash)

Vance's Hoothoot evolved into Noctowl during his travels in Sinnoh.  It has grown more adept at battling and he is much more confident in his abilities.  It uses its foresight to help it see at night.


Feraligator (Male)/ Net Ball
(Slash, Water Gun, Rage, Crunch, Ice Fang, Water Pulse)

Vance's Totodile evolved into Croconaw and then again into Feraligatr while he was traveling through Kanto alone.  Feraligatr takes battling much more seriously since evolving and is a powerhouse when on Vance's team.
