i can't believe we have to wait until 2009 until the next series

rose sucks martha is ok

That's not true.. the next series in 2008.

Then in 2009 there is a year that has three 'specials' to give David Tennant time to work on other projects.

Then, in 2010, series 5.

Well, I think the BBC Website is probably a higher authority.

although we're meant to be be getting the humanoid clone thingys (sonairtrans(sp?)) AND Davros arn't we

Davros is still a rumour & hasn't really had anything substantial to prove it so far. Though if the Daleks want to make their annual return (please stay out of this season... PLEASE), they'll need someone like Davros. I'd say it's 75/25 that he doesn't make a comeback.

-

I very much doubt John Sim is going to be the next Doctor, though the episode left it so the Master himself could return - what I'd love to see is The Master returning as Chris Eccleston.. now that WOULD be interesting!

We need a new Doctor, and a new direction - what about an older Doctor?

RTD is leaving after series 4, so the series WILL go under a new direction. New writer/s usually mean new direction + new opening too.

Who is really going to be watching TV on christmas day? I will have to record it on my freeview in my room. Is Martha going to be in the next series because their was rumours ages ago she didn't want to carry on doing Doctor Who.

Well the last 2 Xmas specials have been on Xmas day. And tons of peeps watch XMas telly. Its why they roll out all those XMas specials and big movies.

Apparently, Martha returns at some point in the next series (I think half way). She ll also be in the next series of Torchwood too.

I forgot about Torchwood. I can't wait for the second series of it and Martha might do better in it than she did in Torchwood.

I am looking forward to getting my presents. I will be putting music on my new phone and I will be playing my new games. I will just have to record it because I am not missing it.

Always about the presents... ¬¬

You have the next year to do that, until you get bored and decide to get the next best thing... =p
Yes.
