Four words that sum up my opinion: I'm not convinced yet.

A complete unknown but I suppose that is better than having someone like David Walliams.

He'll have a heck of a job trying to better David Tennant (My fave Doctor)

I missed Ruby In The Smoke, which he was in, so I don't know what he's like, but on the plus side he's from Northampton. That makes two people from here I can think of who have become somewhat famous. Hurrah! 
 
Anyway, I'm sure that whatever he's like, that's what the Doctor will become, instead of him trying to be like the Doctor. Which is possibly the point. Yay o.o
