It's obvious the future sonic screwdriver we saw in Silence in the Library will either be coughed up by the Tardis for a new doctor or it will slowly go through cosmetic changes building up to that point (the base design looks like a variant of David Tennant's screwdriver) ...so we might see the dampers, the "red setting", the finger recognition ring with the fluid link and a concealed miniature neural relay slowly incorporated into the screwdriver over time.

I was going to say, the River Song storyline won't be in danger of finishing until that screwdriver appears. GOOD, because I love River Song, whether she's his wife or not! Oh, and he is also likely going to go through at least one regeneration first, maybe more. Do remember that she has a place in her diary with all his faces, to help her distinguish which one she's meeting, and that when she saw the 10th Doctor it was "the youngest she'd ever seen him". No matter what is revealed about her, River is going to be a recurring character for a long while, I feel.

I keep getting sad for her now, because as some of these things happen, like his 'first' kiss with her, she knows that for her, their story/relationship is drawing to an end, and that soon he won't know her at all (ie Silence in the Library).

I reckon the girl and River Song is The Rani and she's using that fobwatch thing to hide so the Doctor doesn't recognise her.

Or I wonder if the Eye-patch lady is The Rani and she captured a timelady child.

The episode he gives the screwdriver to river song is the day they get married or whatever. That will be the time when they know most eachother the most. (However river song meets the 10th doctor once more when she goes to the libary). It makes sence that they get married or something when they are at a point where they know eachother the most(kinda).
-I don't think we will see that episode yet in this series but we will see it the next time he regenerates.
-This series we find out who river is and maybe near the begining of her life.

Now THAT would make an excellent plot twist! Is anyone else looking forward to the return of the Cybermen in episode 7? I duly hope that they are finally the true Mondasian cybermen, not some lame Cybus parallel earth rip offs :P

I luv voltorbs!

The Tardis has to be the slowest pregnancy test ever.

But other then that, great episode. :3

Space pirates! I'm sold.
Although at the time I was a bit "what? no wait what it changed again? and suddenly it's this?", it's nice to see an episode where the Doctor doesn't know everything and is making it up and solving puzzles as he goes along.
Though if the spaceship crew were killed by a virus then why weren't they all in stasis? Or did it kill them in a shorter time than the ten seconds it took for the holographic doctor to sample and transport them?

Anyway, yes. I liked it
nice fun episode that appeals to my inner child
Do wish that they would stop killing Rory though
we had that last series
therefore heartstrings not successfully pulled
particularly as I knew he'd be in the next episode

speaking of which... I AM EXCITE.
is the woman with the eyepatch the one we saw appearing in the next episode? [time lady?]
maybe she goes through Amy's mind/memories in a future episode and that's why she's popping up now?

or maybe just ninjas

See my theory is the eyepatch lady looks like she's looking through a prison cell window. And I remember in the first episode in the last series there was a prison inside a crack in Amy's wall. And of course the creature that escaped from that prison also told the Doctor that The Silence were coming... Yeah, I'm not sure where I'm going with that either...

Anyhooo... timelord child in the previous episode?  ;D Makes me think that Snagprophet was right that River Song is a closet timelord and perhaps... PERHAPS... the timelord child is her? I also had a theory that Amy's child (if it exists) might be River Song.

I like the fact that The Doctors 200 year-older version that gets killed is still Matt Smith as well...

BBC4 showed the Hand of Fear today, which I guess was another tribute to Sarah Jane.

Still, wouldnt hurt them to air classics on freeview like on BBC4. Seemed like a good idea...

What the eyepatch lady said in the pirate ep, maybe helping Amy give birth?

I liked the idea of the tardis! Was kinda scary with amy. An average eppisode imo.
Will they ever stop killing rory

Hahex and Oshawott

Today's episode was totally trippy with the Rory and Amy running scene. Zombie Rory is totally creepy.

...am I the only one who though, "the cake is a lie" when all the "die, hate, kill Amy" came up on the wall?

i rather did love that episode as it happens and will probably end up watching it again in the next few days
neil gaiman you crazy cat

much love for ladytardis ["did you wish really hard?"]
and the whole mindscrewy "kill amy" scene
also I misheard michael sheen and thought that the ood was called Matthew instead of Nephew
whoops
Rory is the pretty one

also Rory will die constantly forever and this will be explained in the last episode that it's a cleverly disguised plot twist
only not

Bunk beds!

"the only water in the forest is the river"... did anyone else think River Song and Forest of the Dead? maybe a reference to the names of River and Ms Pond?
probably not though
upcoming thing is more likely

I just realised that 'River' and 'Pond' were water related. Does this mean we can rule out Amy having the Doctor's baby?
