FINALLY got Drowned Wednesday. Been looking all over for this book, and I got the Keys of the Kingdom series for Christmas. Haha~! Currently on Chapter 8, and after finishing Duma Key (which I loved) and a fair bit of Insomnia, lighter fictions are definitely like a treat for me at the moment.

Is it legally possible for me to marry a book?
I don't give a damn, I'll do it anyway.
I love this book and I'm only barely past the prologue. It' dark, dreary, beset with a sense of incoming disaster and hopelessness, and I'm not past page 27. Just how I like it.

Sizacu

Still on Insomnia, haha. Got Sir Thursday ready, just finished the prologue.

I've a feeling that I'll finish Sir Thursday before I finish Insomnia, so I've managed to distance myself away from it...
Guh, 200 pages. One reason why I don't like long books ;;

For school I have to read My Antonia by Willa Cather... not looking forward to this.

Whenever I find time, I've been reading (since Christmas Day) Modelland by Tyra Banks. It's a really good book<3

lets all go out for some frosty chocolate milkshakes

Just finished The Raw Shark Texts

the writer seems to be ever so slightly sort of idk pretentious about it but
ahaha wow its like House of Leaves easy version it's rather good
all a bit weird to get your head around the concept of but rather inspirational if you do??

theres someone in it called Mycroft Ward thats good enough for me

points an extra long umbrella at a student hes asking a question to all "YOUUU." and wow this is pretty much an inside joke only one other member will understand
no-one else will get it thats what makes it funny

Tried to read it when I was 15. Got bored halfway through the first volume. Must attempt it again, though. I hate to think one of the books on my shelves has never been completed!

At the moment; A Game of Thrones, A Dance with Dragons, 2: After the Feast. Been waiting a year for this to come out in paperback! ^.^

Next: Corvus by Esther Woolfson.

MOP

The Bible and volume one of collected Judge Dredd comics. An odd mix I know but I haven't been to the library for a while and these are the only books in the house I haven't read already.  P:

The Shrub Dragon

The Call of Cthulhu and other weird stories by H. P. Lovecraft.

I think it's safe to say that I'll be asking for The Necronomicon for my birthday.

thanks gl <3

I keep meaning to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but I can't engage with the story in any way  :-/

Not saying it's a bad book or anything, but I can't remember any of the characters appart from Mr Bingley, who I'm not even sure is in the book, maybe I'm making him up?

Any way, zombie pride and prejudice.

I'm reading one of Capote's most popular novels, In Cold Blood. It's just for english class, but it's not bad, I guess.

I'm reading Dreamcatcher and Needful Things. Just finished Heros by Robert Cormier for school.

Reading Pride and Prejudice in school atm, and to be honest, I don't really like it. One of Jane Austen's sentences could easily be a paragraph in its own right :v So many commas and ands and buts!

Also reading Enchanted Glass which I've only just started today. The beginning's a little confusing for me, but it's probably because I was in a half drowsy state all day today xD

At the moment, textbooks and jotters, as my exams start on Thursday. I will definitely start reading again after they've finished, though.
