13160. Okay, that sounds very different from Media in Scotland, Lulu...

quack98

13161. Whenever we did media topics in English, I hated them, so when options came I just didn't go anywhere near media xD

Wolstenholme

13162. I never did Media at GCSE or anything so this is my first experience with it, it seems really good. They haven't given us a single piece of Homework yet (Thank the Lord!)

lugia95

13163. I think media topics and media as a subject are two very different things.

quack98

13164. I've seen the work media classes have done, it looks really boring. All wuestionaires and making movie posters and stuff.

And I've decided after this years exams I'm taking Maths, physics, Law (objection! xD) and either French or Further Maths.

lugia95

13165. See, with us it was writing essays and analysing films. It was actually really interesting, imho. But I guess they've changed it now...

quack98

13166. Analysing films is one of the most boring things ever for me though...

Wolstenholme

13167. I like analysing film posters, there's always loads of colour so it keeps me entertained.

Mind like a child me.

lugia95

13168. See, I loved analysing movies. Although admittedly watching the same movie over and over again did get a bit dull...

13169, I have a solution on getting Dick to Chloe.

13170. Well then go ahead, Blaze.

Wolstenholme

13171. See, we don't do about any particular film. It's about knowing how to make a good Media Text and using Media Codes etc. In the exam we get 'Unseen Texts' and then we're asked questions on them

quack98

13171. @Nate: I find it too easy, I like subjects that can pose a challenge... Hence why I like ohysics (although it's currently way to simple, I had to get my ohysics teacher to go through some advanced higher stuff to keep it interesting...)

@Everyone:

And Chloe and I have a new paired custom title!!!! Yay!!!

lugia95

13173. @Chloe: Yeah, we did that too, but it only made up 30% of our final grade. The other 70% came from an essay on a film and an essay on a production that we made.

@Dick: Did you just spell "physics" "ohysics" twice?

13174, well, maybe we knock him unconscious, then tie him up, lastly catapulting him right into a cake in Chloe's front yard.
