Description: Standing at 5ft7, Murphy is a little taller than average for a girl of her age. She has light brown hair that reaches to just past her shoulders which is layered. There are also a couple of blonde highlights running through it, which she hates. Her eyes are dark green in colour, and her sight is quite bad so she wears a pair of glasses which appear to have no frame around the lenses.

Clothes-wise, Murphy wears a navy, long sleeved top with a picture of a feather on the front. She wears a grey, sleeveless jacket on top of this. A feather can be seen poking out of one of the pockets. A pair of old, faded blue jeans with large tears in the knees and some sturdy, slightly muddy walking boots completes her outfit. Murphy also carries a small, burgundy rucksack with her.

Murphy is slightly plump; she can just about carry off the extra weight because of her height, but she still feels horrible about it.

Personality: Always nervous, Murphy is nearly always seen with a worried look on her face. Whether it's the fact that she's running slightly late or that she left something small at home, she gets worked up about things easily and thinks about the little things that she did for a long time afterwards. She's not all that shy; she'll go up to strangers and ask them for directions if needed, but she'll often say something that she wishes she didn't and then feel really bad about it. Murphy lacks confidence, which is another thing she dislikes about herself.

When she gets to know someone, she isn't much better. She'll attempt to make jokes and try to feel at ease, but sooner or later she'll become nervous again and lose what little confidence she built up, making her feel even worse. She rarely confides in anyone and normally prefers her own company.

History: Born in Olivine City in Johto, Murphy spent the first few years of her life there before her family moved to Violet City. Whilst there, she grew to admire Falkner and decided that she wanted to follow in his footsteps and train only Flying-types. Her parents weren't too happy with this; they hadn't wanted her to become a Trainer. In the end she won them around, and she began spending more time in the Gym learning about how to care for the Pokemon she wanted to train.

Falkner accompanied Murphy on her trip to catch her first Pokemon, and stood by to watch as she caught the Pidgey. He then allowed her to train in the Gym until her father was offered a job in Hoenn and the family moved again, this time to Mossdeep. She and Pidgey continued to train and build up a bond with eachother, albeit much more slowly than she had done in Violet.

Caught just outside of Violet City, Pidgey is Murphy's first Pokemon. They didn't get along very well at first, what with Murphy being inexperienced at training and Pidgey being quite a solitary Pokemon, but after a while they began to trust eachother and have since developed a relatively strong bond. He's quite a determined Pokemon, and will often make his own decisions so as to avoid waiting around for Murphy to decide what would be the best thing to do. By doing so, he also alleviates some of her worry, as she won't have made a choice to reflect on later.

All you need to do now is request acceptance into the member group. In order to do so, simply follow these steps...

* Go to your profile page

* Look in the "Modify Profile" drop down tab and select "Group Membership"

* Look for the member group called "PLC access" and select "Request Membership."

* After you have been approved, if you find yourself unable to post anywhere other than the PLC, go back to the "Group Membership" page and make sure that you make "Registered Members" your primary group.

Once you've done that I'll approve you for PLC access.
