I spent six months applying for work and the only interview I got was a week before I got my last minute acceptance for uni! Probably would have tried for the merchant navy or got in shape for the police without this chance for radiography (yay physics and expensive kit for me to play with).
The only money I could earn was doing work for one of my dad's friends. Clearing the wasteland posing as a garden after he'd moved house, the former owner was a builder and left half a ton of rubble at the back.

Edit:I know I had it easy by comparison. I just wanted to be part of the jobless talk. *is feeling isolated* D:

i was never living with a friend for more than a few days, i sofa surfed for over a year and there were times where no one would have me in so i had to sleep in a tree/ park/ underpass for a few nights while i looked for a place. I also don't have internet at home I have to use it at friends houses which is where i am right now.
