My train of thought led me to thinking about what will happen when Hombo (my budgie) dies.
Even the thought of it is soul destroying. I literally have no idea how I will cope when the time comes. I mean, what if I'm not even living at home when it happens? Life without Hombo is impossible to imagine...

as someone who has done the whole sad pet death thing to the point of boredom its just one of those things you experience and then get over

I kinda just got dumped/friend zoned after they realised they were only with me for the attention... And now they are annoyed with me for saying I need time away, before we hang out as friends. I am ok with him ending whatever we were together, but so far every guy I choose to make it work with, uses me. I tell my friends to take risks with lads, because we are young and will get over the hurt we could feel in the end. But I hate this feeling. It not like the guys just didn't like me anymore, they used me and then say I am too nice and deserve better. It so frustrating, mainly because I have never been in a real relationship. And when they say I deserve better, it makes me think they are lying and I am just not good enough to date.

I'm not going to pretend I know you well, so I can't say that's a lie. But what I can say is, if you see that a relationship isn't of using the other person, that already puts you a level above them! The only time you know you won't find a relationship, is when you have the attitude you're undateable. I'm sure you're a great person, and they just didn't appreciate that!

do you perhaps think of guys as "jerks" for doing this and do you feel your niceness isn't appreciated by the jerk guys

Try parting a sea of 11 year olds to get from one end of the school to another down a super crowded corridor.

^Yeah, I have French after break on Mondays, and the way the corridors are layed out means to get to French I have to pass the hordes of people coming the other way out of the dining hall (a lot of people get a snack there at break)
