I got that Mass Effect N7 key ring! Couldn't look at it straight away though, literally went straight to the gym afterwards.

3 Days until Hayley comes home. Work has given me the night off so I can spend Saturday evening with her, and then when I informed her mum of this she asked if I wanted to stay over Saturday night as well (since I wasn't working, it meant I wouldn't be back late. She worries about me when I walk home late =3 )

So yeah, happy times =3 plus it's nearly easter =D

Feeling a lot more confident about my music exam next week <3 Teacher said that my three pieces are being played really well (coming from her, too o: ) and that my scales and arpeggios just need a bit of work on the tempo. My sight reading has been getting better, and today's test on it would have given me a pass mark.

... Now to do more sight reading when I can :v

i don't know what the preluding factors are but i seem to have managed to get my brain to behave

maybe its the glitch mob playing in the background (thank you bluffy haha i nicked it from one of your tumblr entries)
maybe i got my meds in me at the right time
maybe it is a hangover day from therapy yesterday
maybe it is the day after the day after my horrible headache
maybe its my weird yerba mate i drink
maybe it was stuffing my head full of quantum mechanics yesterday
maybe its dopamine from getting quite a few things done that i was scared to do

but

and it seems to be extruding this bizarre slightly buzz-like feel
but its all so very lucid and calm and a bit out of it but focussed
you know when you've had just the right amount of coffee and your head is buzzing you feel a little light headed and not too tired but not too awake
and just
serene
and for once the usual crap which obfuscates your brain from doing stuff
like developmental disorders
seem to be taking a backseat
like literally you know when you usually go to a task its really hard to do cos everything EVERYTHING about it is confusing and you just end up angry

im not sure how i can describe it better but like
i feel spaced out
but in a coherent way and like
all i've done is drink some yerba mate and stay indoors most of the day its really quite nice as i've been able to do lots to my lab manual without my usual tripping over self like i usually do
