Just because Joeno has resigned doesn't mean that there will be a new admin

People are forgetting this. Replacing someone like Joeno, who has done a hell of a lot for the site, is pretty much hard to do, and it's not even necessary. The site at the moment is coping without him, and I'm sure that there will always be an option for him to return when he's feeling more up to it.

As a site, despite how much of a blow this is, we have to try to continue as normal, so no thinking about promotions and that sort of thing, because that probably won't happen. The admins have already stated that they have no intention of replacing Joeno anyways.

Actually, it's now a contest between Hammy the Loveable Hamster and a Hitler sockpuppet.  I am glad to report at this stage 'Hammy the Loveable Hamster' is thrashing the sock puppet.

I don't think it's a joke thread. Joeno's status has five Pokeballs- a sign that he is now an ordinary member. Admins, I think, have five Master Balls as status- correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, we may not care on our heads if an admin resigned, but deep in our hearts, we do care if one is resigned.

Meh, I'm happy to see him go. Sure, hes done a lot for the site, but cmon, hes just another one of us. No need to make a big song and dance about it. The reason why I barely go here anymore because half the stuff on here isn't even about Pokémon anymore. Its all about adminship and how Joeno has put so much effort into this site and how he is leaving. OH NO! What will my life be like without him? I don't care what you guys put in reply to this, or even remove it. I probably won't even see it. All I'm saying is that why make SUCH a big deal out of a member "resigning". Even that is a term I hate - this isn't a job, its a forum, its not like hes resigning from a job.

Get a grip on yourselves people...this site is meant to be FUN.

He made this site possible-for him it was a lot like a job! He isn't resigning from the site, he's resigning as an admin. He'll still visit from time to time I expect, but not in the capacity he does now with regards to running it. This is very different to just you or me quitting.
