I found out a few days ago that my great-great-great-great-great-Grandfather had been Italian. I'm 1/5 Italian!! The rest is a mix of English and a bit of Irish (maybe a little Scottish as well.)

I am also a proud Atheist

Well since we're on heritage, my grandfather (dad's side) was in the french SAS and my great grandfather (mums side) was in the RAF.

Said grandfather is half french, thus making me 1/8th french.

My family (mums side) has lived in my home-village since the 14th century, and even helped to lay out the main road here. On top of that, one of my ancestors was one of the first midwives in the area.

my dad was an engineer in the navy. I'm half Phillipino (from my mum), and my mum was a nurse. My great-grandfather fought in WW1, my mother's dad was running from the Japanese in WW2, and now he owns a farm. I'm taller than one of my cousins from my mum's side. I've inherited my English uncle's "acid tongue," and dry sense of humour.

I find nothing more annoying than people who don't have anything worthwhile/funny/intelligent/etc. to say, and won't shut up. Who then tell you to be quiet when they're talking. Needless to say, their sole reply is a rather rude "Oh, did you say something?"
