The people who decide that Amanda Palmer's "own work" is the only stuff worth her time. Fair enough, Evelyn Evelyn wasn't exactly amazing but it was creative and worked in certain ways, but to go as far as say that she shouldn't have done the DD reunion tour or worked with Tristan is too far. She does an insane amount of live shows. Just because she isn't releasing anything new yet [she released her album in 2008 and released an EP this year] doesn't mean she shouldn't do anything else. Calling for her to retire if she doesn't stick to writing her own songs? No. That's not how Amanda is. She's performed so many unrecorded songs and performed DD songs solo. You should be grateful she takes the time to perform whenever she can. Every night of Cabaret, she held free after-shows for those with Cabaret tickets when she could have easily declined any extras. She puts a lot of time and effort into everything she does, and if anything, the reunion tour is more important than releasing a new album.

I got all Us in my mocks and despite me not being the only one for every single lesson I've been shouted at for it whilst others haven't; I don't even know if I want to carry on with it and unnecessary pressure's being put on me; I should have done a lot better but I'm being targeted here and it's taking the piss.
