After gaining an extra two hours work I wasn't meant to have, and working straight through this weekend, I have concluded that I need more comfortable shoes for the kitchen. My feet hurt, and I still have another eight hours to go!

Also I have a kitchen meeting with my manager Tuesday (instead of Monday, which is now my only day off thanks to training on Thursday) because I'm apparently the new de facto head chef, given that there is no one else. I can't work out if I'm doing something wrong or not, he sounded kind of serious.

I need to get out of here ._.

chances are you know about these already but do you have orthotic (sp?) inserts in your shoes yet? they're these weird heel insert things that are a must if you're standing a lot in jobs

orthoheel is an ok brand esp. if you can find it cheap but if you can get a prescription one/custom made one then thats even better
my doctor was all shifty and "eh well hmm maybe dunno" about it so i've had to go w/ the orthoheel stuff lmao

they do one for Jobs Where You're Standing A Lot but danged if i can find it or figure out the difference between that one and a regular one

I got into an argument with a user on another site, and this other person sided with me, then I later on find out that the user siding with me actually ended up trashing me when I left. Wow, just, wow.

 I've been invited to join my friend and his ex girlfriend down the pub so I can keep her friend company.

I'm fully aware that me and her will both be third wheeling.

I don't like her very much and it'll be awkward.

Right now, I'm tired and I've got a negative view on this and I was propper looking forward to having a pint, but now that I've stopped being excited, it's just a few holes are popping up and it's worrying to know that something bad could easily come out of this.

Sorry to be depressing, like, it's just that this isn't really getting me down.
