Topic: Darker Themed Pokémon?

While I was on tumblr, I happened to stumble upon this on my dashboard.

I'm really bad at summing up stories, so I'll just let you guys discuss of this.

Wow that sounds interesting i think this person may of only made one and was hoping he could inflict a horrible fear of ghosts and pokemon and night plus the cursed music thus creating a traumatized kid for his life also thus possibly meaning either this was a person passing a meaning down to people or just someone who was trying to scare the hoothoots out of a person.  If you think about it anyone who played the game could get freaked out by it.  I however am greatly affected by reading because this creeped me out as bad as when i first encountered missingno and after doing much reasearch on glich pokemon

That story was awesome. I would play that game but in the morning/day NEVER at night.

forgot to add that if it was made [as in the story] by 4chan it could be fake also the likelyness of someone making the old pokemon game work out like this with the inevitability that no one has tried to tamper with it to remove ghost or give the player the silph scope or even the fact that this is the only info i have heard or seen about it plus the fact that there just happened to be no screencaps or even true evidence of the game hard to believe.
a game design could of easily been photoshopped or edited plus the fact that its all in white with no blurs or anything can give the assumption that it was computer generated or that it was actually locatable online somewhere which is very unlikely.

Wow, that is actually very interesting indeed. I'm really surprised by it; it really does provide that dark and evil twist about Pokémon through Ghost. It sort of makes sense as well; maybe Ghost is what killed Marowak in that game?

However, I'm sorry to say that it is still a hack (or fake hack) so the link has to be removed.

What I will do though is allow you to talk about the possibilities of an alternative, dark view of Pokémon which is what that game sort of points to. It's such an interesting concept that I'd prefer to see discussion happen from it. I've edited the front post as well so it goes along with what I'm proposing; that way it's much fairer on us all =]

So here it is: What would Pokémon be like if it was much darker in its theme?

Okay I think I've found the story we're talking about (Black?) and yeh it is creepy, though I found it a bit more sad than anything else. Those poor Cursed pokemon/trainers :<
