One cover song I absolutely hate: Hey Soul Sister by Glee

They completely wrecked one of my favourite songs... Train sang it much better...

Wolstenholme

674. Train sing everything much better than anyone else does!

Yeah, they're one of few American bands I actually like, I don't tend to like American music (although British music isn't so great now... What happened to music like Oasis and Queen)

Wolstenholme

676. I kind of mingle, but I hate American pop and a lot of new English pop as well. I like both English and American Indie/"Monty Python"* Rock but European Pop (especially by Scandinavian artists)

*Monty Python Rock is the title that my favourite band gave to their genre of music - it's not funny, it's just over the top and sometimes a little silly.

I think my favourite band at the moment is The Script, but they do quite a mixed style of music.

I like some pop, but not much, it depends on the song. I don't like any of these songs where the lyrics are just slapped together with no meaning...

Wolstenholme

678. I know what you mean. My favourite band is Muse and I've been a huge Muse fan for around 3 years now, their music is slightly bizarre but whatever.

I haven't heard much Muse, but what I have heard is been cool, I know what you mean about them being bizarre, I can never work out what genre it is to be honest  ;D

Wolstenholme

680. I think it was NME who first called them "Monty Python Rockers" I love Muse so much though.  ^.^

The only song I can remember the name of by them is Sing for Absolution, that's quite a cool song

Wolstenholme

682. Yes it is! Most people only really know Knights of Cydonia because they play it on Radio 1 sometimes :-)

quack98

683. I only knew Sing for Absolution because when my sister gave me her old iPod it was on their, so I tried listening to it, before I deleted it, but it was good so I left it on...

Wolstenholme

684. That's what happened when I gave my Mum my old Ipod - there was tons of Muse on there and my Mum just left it on... all my Muse CD's have migrated to her car.

685.

Haha, parents have a way of 'borrowing' CDs...

Wolstenholme

686. She offered to "pay me" for them... there are 7 CDs, she wanted to give me £10. I said No.

quack98

687. Has she entered HMV recently? It's more like £10 per CD!
