Although this episode has been dubbed and aired globally now, it was at first thought to be "too Japanese" to show English audiences, despite it having Jessie's capture of Lickitung in it!

This episode is set during the Japanese Princess Festival, and on this special day just for girls, we see Jessie and Misty fighting each other to be first in the Princess contest, being judged on both looks and battling ability.
