So like, you want to pass some IVs onto your babies?

That means nothing to me, but apparently it's important to some of you who stay up all night just so your precious Magikarp can have another 2 Special Attack points.

Well excitingly, new to HGSS, you can now pass on a particular IV stat during breeding. Christ, even two if you're desperately waiting the Lost finale and want to pass the time. Simply give mummy or daddy the relevant item below and their relevant IV stat will be passed down to baby!

Power Belt	Defense
Power Bracer	Attack
Power Lens	Special Attack
Power Weight	HP

It's worth noting that you can't attach both parents one of these Items, so for instance the Power Band and the Power Anklet, to allow both IVs to be passed down; they'll rotate but won't both be passed on (other than by the normal method of attributing IVs, but that's complicated stuff kids). As a result, your best bet to utilise these items is to get two parents with as close to the IVs you want passing down as possibe, the Male having the IV you want the most and the female with the nature you want and the Everstone attached, and breeding that way.
