You know, the first perdon to get a shiny pokemon must have been so confused.
I was when I encountered my first: a lileep when I got it back in my ruby days... I thought it was interesting and trained it up to lv.100. For a while I would stop it from evolving so that it wouldnt lose it's shinyness XD. Eventually I decided I could just have a regular cradily, so I evolved it.
