Black and White Wi-Fi Section: - Areas | Where can you visit in your Pokédreams?

So you've connected to this mysterious Pokémon Global Link, and found the even more mysterious Dream World huh? Bit confused about what to do there? Well worry no more, you've come to the right place! Here we'll have a look at what areas you'll come across when you enter this mysterious world of dreams.

Home

The first area you will arrive in is your home. This can decorated using furniture purchased in Nacrene City, a full list of which can be found here! Firstly, on the back wall lies your Noticeboard. This displays up to 10 Pokémon which you have waiting to be sent back to your game file, as well as a list of up to 50 Pokémon that you have previously sent. In the corner next to the door you will also see your Treasure Chest. In here are placed the items you accumulate during your Dream World excursions, giving you the option to remove them and take them with you, or sync them back to your game file.

Berry Patch

To the west of your Home Area lies the Berry Patch. Berries are effectively the currency of the Dream World, and since they do not grow anywhere in Unova this is one of the only places in which you can get your grubby little hands on them. You start off with two rows of soil in which to plant berries, but you unlock a third row when you collect 900 Dream Points and then a fourth after collecting 2,100 Dream Points. A fifth gets added at a higher Dream Points total. You can water and pick your berries here, and if you ever visit a friend's Berry Patch you can also water their berries for them.

Item Area

To the east of your Home Area lies the Item Area. A set of shelves lies here upon which up to nine items can be placed. The key use of this area is for trading items with your friends. If a friend visits your Dream World and enters your Item Area then they can take any item you have left on one of the shelves, in return for leaving something else in its space.

Friend Areas

In the Dream World hub you can view your friends Dream Islands, and also visit them. In order to see a friends Dream Island you must have them registered in your Pal Pad and have connected to them over some kind of Wi-Fi activity.

Dream Isle

Located on the opposite side of your Dream Island to your Home lies the Dream Isle. It is here that you can come across Wild Pokémon in the Dream World, many of which you cannot find in Unova. The Dream Isle itself has many different areas which are discussed in detail here!
