To celebrate Pokémon's tenth anniversary, Nintendo of Europe are letting you vote on the Pokémon that you most need... which will presumably lead to a tour or something.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Nintendo want you to vote on the ten Pokémon you most want on your Game Boy cartridge- and you've got until May 15th to do so. Why? When the votes are in, you'll apparently have the chance to add one of the ten most popular Pokémon to your cartridge.

How this is going to work, we don't know- there's no hints of it being a tour, like there has been in the past, or if it'll be a "post us your cartridge and we'll send it back with new Pokémon on". I'd wager it's the former, as a tour was strongly hinted at us in October last year by Nintendo reps at the Deoxys tour.

What's the point? Mew, Mewtwo and Celebi aren't listed on the website as being able to be voted for, so they're out of the equation. You'll probably get a nice trainer ID and name- when Nintendo were handing out Mews at events years ago, the Mews had ID#2000 and the name was "UK" in erm... the UK. Maybe the Pokémon you'll download will be shiny?

Who knows? I certainly don't.
