Gallade	Sir Devoir Gardevoir's Japanese name is Sirknight and of course it's name is Gardevoir in North America. I used the name for battling on Pokemon Showdown since Gardevoir is my favorite Pokemon, and upon using Mega Gallade I decided to give it this name seeing as it fits a male Gallade better than a female Gardevoir (cause thinking about male Gardevoir is a bit confusing). Gallade	Freed I know your just going to flay this nickname anyway but I may as well explain the reason for its inception. It's based off a Yu-gi-Oh card called Gearfried the Iron Knight. Now I would of spelt it Fried but it just to much like fried like fried egg and I thought that was just stupid. So I instead spelt it how it sounded. Now for the reason I chose it was cause Gearfried has an attack called "Metal Forearm Thrust". And thinking in terms of pokemon. Metal Claw would be somewhat similar to that (since Gallade's entire arm would be covered as it doesn't exatly have claws). It was the best I could come up with at the time of needing it. Gallade	Lance Gallade has blades on it's arms, and most of the moves that Gallade has are based on cutting. (Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Leaf Blade, etc.) A lancet is a 2 - edged knife used for surgical cutting. Take the "t" off 'lancet', and you have "Lance". Gallade	Perseus Since Gallade is a fighting type, and has arms that resemble swords, I decided to give it a warrior's name. I also noticed its head resembles a Spartan helm, so I wanted to incorparate Greece somehow. Also, his moveset works perfectly with a Gardevoir I named Andromeda.
