Gengar | slim shady hes the real shady Wed 15 Aug 2012 16:09:13 UTC by kanto4evr | The Name Rater says... Wonderful to know trite from years back can always pop back up and bite you on the arse, isn't it? Rated: Mon 01 Oct 2012 21:44:06 UTC |
Gengar | Gaygar I don't know... I name all my gengars like that after I play RBY Sat 11 Aug 2012 17:29:08 UTC by GoldenMagikarp | The Name Rater says... Ah, yes, how is it being so deep in the closet you're practically in Narnia? Rated: Sat 15 Sep 2012 10:26:32 UTC |
Gengar | Fuzzy My sister was drunk when I got a Gengar. And she kept yelling, "EVERYTHING FEELS FUZZY!" So I picked Fuzzy. He had a naive nature so I think that part worked to. Sat 04 Aug 2012 17:15:58 UTC by Troublesome99 | The Name Rater says... Your sister sounds about five, thus I'm actually very terrifed and onto the social services as we speak. Rated: Mon 10 Sep 2012 18:33:33 UTC |
Gengar | Skygge Skygge [Sh-ki-geh] is a Danish word meaning shadow, and since Gengar hides in shadows perfectly to attack or play jokes, I thought it would be fitting. Tue 10 Jul 2012 20:38:28 UTC by BloodBlade | The Name Rater says... I'm surprised you can think at all.. Rated: Mon 10 Sep 2012 18:30:03 UTC |
Gengar | Nyx Nyx, Greek Goddess of the night. Both Nyx & Gengar have the ability to hide in the shadow of any object. :) Fri 13 Jul 2012 12:57:33 UTC by Takashi | The Name Rater says... Somehow, I don't get the vibe that Gengar is a Goddess of the night. Perhaps that could be that Gengar looks nothing like somebody I'd find on a street corner ready to haggle.. Rated: Mon 10 Sep 2012 18:24:19 UTC |
Gengar | Loki I named my Gengar after the Norse trickster god because of Gengar's sneaky nature. Sun 03 Jun 2012 06:30:25 UTC by Sgt.Kickass926 | The Name Rater says... You named it after a terrible actor with a horrible wonky nose? Bit silly that isn't it? Rated: Thu 06 Sep 2012 22:09:25 UTC |
Gengar | In-Specter Since Gengar is a ghost, I thought this little play on words of "inspector" was funny Mon 04 Jun 2012 06:23:48 UTC by Tricycloplots | The Name Rater says... At least somebody found it funny. Rated: Thu 30 Aug 2012 21:35:50 UTC |
Gengar | Rancor The word "rancor" means bitterness or malice, which works for an evil natured Pokemon such as a Gengar. Sun 27 May 2012 16:21:33 UTC by | The Name Rater says... Rancid. Rated: Wed 29 Aug 2012 16:38:49 UTC |
Gengar | Grimm Gengar appear to always be grinning. They're also kind of creepy looking almost grimley. 'Grin' sounds like 'Grim' but with an added M. Sat 10 Mar 2012 15:57:36 UTC by KWest | The Name Rater says... Except Grim sounds like Grim, not Grin. On that basis alone I should slap you, nevermind the atrocious nickname. Rated: Sun 12 Aug 2012 19:56:21 UTC |
Gengar | Mimic I chose this nickname because a long, long time ago, I read a 4chan post that explained the possibility of Gengar being the incarnation of Clefable's shadow, discussing how the swirl on its head turned to spike as it cast a dimness to the floor and how the ears and spikes along their backs looked similar. It also discussed how they name Gengar was attained, deriving from the word doppelganger, meaning copy. Fri 23 Dec 2011 01:01:53 UTC by JustASnivyNamedKage | The Name Rater says... Come back when it's mimicked a decent nickname. Rated: Tue 10 Jul 2012 17:05:22 UTC |

Gengar | GraveRobbr Its spelt wronge due to the 10 letter limit. When I think grave Robber I think , Sneaky, clever, tough. And that just describes Gengar as well Sun 27 Mar 2011 20:22:05 UTC by Microscopic_smile | The Name Rater says... Except Gengar isn't a grave robber, has made no attempt to be, and your nickname isn't even spelt right. Lets face it, this isn't going well is it? Rated: Sun 17 Jul 2011 11:21:24 UTC |
Gengar | Dusanek I wanted to find a ghostlyish name for my Gastly (now Gengar) and so I googled ghostly names. Dusanek came up as a possibly latin or similar word for either soul or spirit, which Gastly (now Gengar) is, a spirity soul (that uses lick attack) Sun 13 Feb 2011 12:58:12 UTC by Alex Boccaccio | The Name Rater says... Gengar | Gallows Well after racking my brain for a name that wasn't typical I came to this. I'm not really sure why I picked this, but I feel it has the same dark feeling as Gengar has. Fri 10 Dec 2010 01:16:05 UTC by SurfaceYrdwnfal | The Name Rater says... You have a very mediocre mind. Possible good name, ruined. Rated: Sun 13 Mar 2011 20:41:04 UTC |
Gengar | Remnant Noun: a usually small part, member, or trace remaining. (Naturally, I'm aware that you're aware of the meaning, but this is for lesser folk.) Ghosts are generally the spirits of living beings who have died, the soul being the only thing remaining, even after the body has long since decayed. Hey, at least it's not 'Shadow' or something overly-obvious like that. Sat 13 Nov 2010 04:36:12 UTC by Wyrmses | The Name Rater says... The fact that it's not 'Shadow' or something overly-obvious like that is the only thing it's got going for him. Rated: Tue 01 Mar 2011 18:55:11 UTC |

Gengar | Cheshyre Gengar has the same grin as the Cheshire Cat. Gengar is also a mischievous and eerie creature that can disappear and reappear at will, just like the Cheshire Cat. Gengar | Cheshire both the cheshire cat and gengar have a permanent grin on their face though gengar's is supposed to be scary (but a cat with a constant smile on its face is pretty damn scary too). the cheshire cat can make itself (and body parts)disappear at will and gengar can disappear into shadows. also in the crystal animated sprite of gengar you can clearly see its legs disappear for a for a second. they are both purplish (if youre thinking of the disney cat) and gengar's spikes look like a ghostly kind of fur and a cat is obviously furry. Tue 01 Dec 2009 19:41:10 UTC by king joe | The Name Rater says... Chesire the Cat reminds you of ghosts? That's a new one.. Rated: Thu 07 Jan 2010 17:02:59 UTC |
