This Team contains all of my all time favorite pokemon. So far they have been able to whip anyone i've played on Wi-fi(maybe im just lucky...) Well Here they are, Help is accepted
Nature: Adamant Attack EV: 252 Speed EV: 252 HP EV: 6 Attack IV: 31 Defense IV: 31 Special Attack IV: 0 Special Defense IV: 31 Speed IV: 31 HP IV: 31
My Arcanine(that took practically for ever, 72 Hours+ to find with Max IV and Adamant Nature) that i love dearly. Thunder Fang is for Water Types. Crunch helps support Alakazam from Ghosts and takes out pesky Psychic Types. Extremespeed is for those stupid Focus Sash users.
Nature: Modest Special Attack EV: 252 Special Defense EV: 6 Speed EV: 252 Attack IV: 0 Defense IV: 31 Special Attack IV: 31 Special Defense IV: 31 Speed IV: 31 HP IV: 31
Another Excellent Pokemon that I have(Lucky Me o.o)
Anyways... Shadow Ball is for Ghosts. Energy Ball is for Rock and Ground Pokemon(for Arcanine) Shock Wave takes out Flying and Waters(for Arcanine)- owns a weak Gyrados. Incase you haven't found out yet this team is for Double Battle.
Nature: Adamant Attack EV: 252 Speed EV: 252 HP EV: 6 Attack IV: 31 Defense IV: 31 Special Attack IV: 0 Special Defense IV: 31 Speed IV: 31 HP IV: 31
A basic floatzel that pawns!!! lol well actually he's one of my worst but, Ice Punch is for Garchomp and other types weak to it.
Crunch is to take out Ghosts and Psychics for Gengar. Strength is basically a fill in...
Nature: Adamant Attack EV: 252 Special Defense EV: 6 Speed EV: 252 Attack IV: 31 Defense IV: 31 Special Attack IV: 0 Special Defense IV: 31 Speed IV: 31 HP IV: 31
My Gallade. Has 3 moves with high crit rates(which help alot) Now i know most of you will reccommend i switch Close for Brick Break... I choose not to because i need the extra umph from close to take down Tyranitars and other tough Rock and Dark Types like Umbreaon. Leaf is for waters. Night is for other Psychics who mess with Gallade.
Nature: Modest Special Attack EV: 252 Speed EV: 252 HP EV: 6
This ones IV's are unknown atm i will know soon though. Ominous is for ghosts and psys that Gallade can't take down alone. Dragon Pulse is for Tough Dragons and pretty much any type but steel. Flamethrower takes down steel and Air Slash is for grass types.
Thanks for responding to my team, well the basic reason i did this is because i like the boost that Life Orb, Muscle Band, Wise Glasses and all the Choice Items give, its just that i dislike the Choice Items, not very fun using just one move and i already had a life orb(which i like to use only once) so i stuck with these.
Not too much I can say. Choice at least ONE of you Pokemon- the extra power works wondersfor Pokemon who switch out a lot.
Shock Wave on Alakazam is pointless compared to the almighty Thunderbolt. Also consider Focus Blast for Dark types who can give you a problem.
Gengar would probably prefer Energy Ball or HP Fire over Sludge Bomb. Focus Blast is also recommended for him.
Floatzel pretty much works only in Rain, but that would hinder Arcanine and Charizard... either way, Life Orb this and go for a Jolly nature to compensate. Good moveset, though.
Why would anyone go Brick Break over Close Combat? That move is basically nessecary on any Pokemon that can learn it.
Ominous wind is a bit too weak on Charry to be used well enough. Roost support is recommended, with Leftovers and a bulky EV spread.
I realize this is a team of favorites, but you'll probably need support if you're going against tougher opponents- especially since you're so reluctant to use anything bigger than a 1.1 boost.
Speaking of the boosts, you can buy multiple Bands and Scarfes, which I would really advocate for since you'll find yourself switching out a lot in more advanced battles. Extra Life Orbs can be procured from other copies of DPP, or from non-competitive friends.
In response to your comments Shiny KEcleon: Alakazam knows Shock Wave because he is incapable of learning Thunderbolt >.<
Gengar now knows energy ball
I will put the life orb i got from my platinum on my floatzel but i'm going to stick with Adamant , i understand that he is supposed to be a Speed Pokemon but i feel he is already fast enough and could use any extra atk. he can get,
Regarding Gallade i had a theory last night to replace him with Lucario and team him with Charizard/Gengar.
His stats would be as follows:
Lucario
Adamant
Muscle Band/Life Orb
EV: 252 ATK and SPEED 6 HP
-Close Combat
-Bullet Punch
-Earthquake(both Geng and Charry can resist)
- Extremespeed
IDK tell me if its better than Gallade or not.
For Charry i understand that he is a bit bulkier but im more of a Straight Forward Attacker rather than a Staller.
What, Alakazam can't learn Thunderbolt? I've been LIED to all these years! Either way, you should probably go with Focus Blast.
This is for Doubles? Why didn't you say so... wutever.
Brick Break > Strength completely. Completely.
Keep Gallade for now. However, Lucario can work. I say raise one and test it over various Pokemon- it's one of the top OUs for a reason.
Even if you're stratgey is mainly focused around offense, at least ONE bulky Pokemon is useful, even if it has a 4x Stealth Rock weakness. Roost is mostly there because Ominous wind is comepletely useless most of the time, unless you want to throw chance to the wind (pun intended).
lol yea i know i swear my LG Ally knew Thnderbolt oh well... Ok about the Brick over Strength wat are the advantages.... lol about Luc/Gallade I went with Luc. but im thinking of going back it took like 52 trys in breeding just to get even a Jolly Lucario, plus i think i like Gallade better, so i will keep my Luc. But i'll stick with your advice(and my concience, lol) and keep Gallade in my team.
About Charry i will get another one and battle over wifi to test them out if i went with Bulky Charry should his stats be this(or what)
Charizard @ Life Orb/Leftover
Adamant/???
-Flamethrower(mine actually uses Heat Wave as of last night)
-Air Slash
-Dragon Pulse
-Roost
EV: 252 S.Atk 124 Def 128 S.Def 6 HP
Strentgh is just by rule of thumb not good to use when you have better options with more coverage, ESPECIALLY with Return offering Normal Physical damage at 102 power- 22 more than Strength. Of course, if the Pokemon isn't normal typed, there's no need to use it when Brick Break is much better.
Sorry for not explaining that earlier, I always just assumed it went without saying >.>
Anyway, the Charizard set posted above looks very good (though it should probably run Flamethrower for the accuracy).
Floatzel will run Brick Break Life Orb now. About the Charry thing. I have 2 new pokemon that couls be possible replacements for Geng and Gallade. Yea i know more replacements. Yanmega and Uxie. There stats would be as follows:
Yanmega @ Life Orb
Speed Boost
Modest
-Bug Buzz
-Air Slash
-Psychic
-Giga Drain
EV: 252 SATK 252 SPEED 6 HP
He'd run with Uxie and Charry would switch and run with Floatzel.
Uxie(Bulk) @ Leftovers
Modest?
EV: 252 DEF 252 SDEF 6 SATK
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Water Pulse
-Energy Ball
Water Pulse covers Yannys Fire and Rock Weaknesses
Energy is just there in case a tough Water/Ice user wants to mess with Yan
waddya think? any comments?
Thanks in advance :)
The moves are great. I don't know what the abilities are, but I'd suggest that your Arcanine have Flash Fire and your Gengar have Levitate. It would make them unaffected by Fire and Ground respectively. Also, your team has a weakness to Ghost types. Good job with the moves, too. :)
