Team Pokepal

The team is all rounded, with every type having one Pokemon in the team Super-Effective against it. Also, in Double-Battles, for Pokemon with moves that effect everyone (e.g. Lapras's Surf, and Metagross's Earthquake), there are Pokemon that compliment these moves by not being effected (Gengar with Levitate), or by flying up (Charizard with Fly). This party is for use mainly in Kanto, with Metagross being traded in as a Beldum egg.

Gengar
Holding Payapa Berry
Ability: Levitate
Moves:

Nature: Modest

Gengar is the main Pokemon of the party, and is sent out first. If Gengar has trouble against the first Pokemon sent out by the opponent, then Gengar uses Confuse Ray, and then switches out. Confuse Ray normally stops it from attacking in at least one of the two turns this procedure takes up, so little is lost by it.

Lapras
Holding Wacan Berry
Ability: Water Absorb
Moves:

Nature: Modest

Lapras works well against most types, and if it's not going well, Confuse Ray can stop them from attacking. I like to use Perish Song against the opponents final Pokemon, and it's especially helpfully when the opponent has a Shuckle or a Blissey, or anything else with massive defence or Hp.

Metagross
Holding Shuca Berry
Ability: Clear Body
Moves:

Nature: Brave

Metagross is a very powerful Pokemon, and Earthquake comes in handy in double battles. If, in future generations, there comes about a high power physical psychic move that Metagross can learn, I will swap it for Psychic, as Psychic doesn't quite fit in with a Pokemon best suited for physical moves. Other than that, it helps out when necessary.

Jolteon
Holding Wise Glasses
Ability: Volt Absorb
Moves:

Nature: Modest

A very powerful very fast Pokemon. Shadow Ball and Trump Card are also very powerful. Not much else to say. Works nicely in a double battle. I tend o go into wild battles with Jolteon, and use Trump card three times, so that the power is very high when it comes to trainer battles.

Mewtwo
Holding Kasib Berry
Ability: Pressure
Moves:

Nature: Modest

I don't normally like legendaries, but Mewtwo's great. Very powerful, and with the moves shown above, helpful in any situation. In Black and White, Mewto's Psychic will be replaced with Psycho Break, Power 100 Accuracy 100, and, whilst using Sp. Atk, deals Physical damage.

Charizard
Holding Charti Berry
Ability: Blaze
Moves:

Nature: Mild

My choice Kanto starter, my Flying pokemon of the party, and my dragon slayer (alongside Lapras). Well rounded. Helpful, and quite powerful.
