Some sand in my ear

Created by Lolman

Its my first go at a 5th gen Sandstom team, please try and keep the comments relevant though please.
Titan the Tyranitar
Holding Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
Moves: Nature: Adamant
Attack EV: 252
Speed EV: 6
HP EV: 252

Common Tyranitar with the not so common Dragon Tail which gives it a phazing attack as well. Dragon Tail goes well with TTar's low speed. The rest of the set is pretty standard. I decided for crunch over pursuit because crunch gives me more power over things that take dark hits neutraly

Drole the Excadrill
Holding Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
Moves: Nature: Jolly
Attack EV: 252
Speed EV: 252
HP EV: 6

Yeah, the number one abuser of Sandstorm, with his amazing speed and access to rapid spin he makes an essential assest to my team. The Air Balloon gives him even more manuverablitiy because i can send him in on an Earthquake.

WonderWall the Sigilyph
Holding Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Moves: Nature: Calm
Special Attack EV: 48
Special Defense EV: 100
Speed EV: 100
HP EV: 252

One of the best stallers in the game who psycho shifts the burn to my opponent which serverly cripples them, then i cosmic power to get huge defences before using them in combonation with Stored power and then roost just adds to his bulk.

Wishling the Jirachi
Holding Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Moves: Nature: Hasty
Attack EV: 126
Special Attack EV: 248
Speed EV: 136

He also knows Draco Meteor from the event. It offers a neutral hit on pretty much anything, Wish is a support move for my whole team in general. Psyshock uses my Sp Atk and my opponents Def meaning they can send out as many Special walls as they like and i will still hit them hard. Finally U-turn is mainly there for combinding with Draco Meteor so i can deal damage while switching out.

Fossolon the Aerodactyl
Holding Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Moves: Nature: Jolly
Attack EV: 252
Speed EV: 252
HP EV: 6

Aerodactyl is one of the best users of the new move Hone Claw. It fits perfectly on him-he's already got great Speed to abuse it with, decent Attack that could use a bit of boosting, and lots of high-powered but low-accuracy attacks. The main problem is that Aerodactyl is very fragile, making him hard to set up

Muddyman the Swampert
Holding Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
Moves: Nature: Relaxed
Attack EV: 252
Special Attack EV: 84
HP EV: 172

His low speed means he can pull off Avalanche easily and OHKO most Grass types. Scald is there for the chance of burn, Stealth Rock is there for support and Earthquake gets STAB.

Um, with your Sigilyph, you're gonna get burned again so yeah, if the opponent has a Taunting Dark-type Sigilyph's gonna do nothing.

Don't have Scald on a Swampert. Have Waterfall instead. I mean, sure Burns are nice, but your Sigilyph is ALL about Burns. As for Stealth Rock, it is useless without a Lead.

Thanks for the input and yeah, taunt dark types screw sigilypth over but i dont really mind, i just switch to something else. Also roost keeps Sigilyph on top of the health reduction so its all cool. As for Sawampert, i couldnt really think of any thing to replace stealth rock apart from maybe curse. And i think i'll take your advice about Scald.

Stealth Rock... feel like trading it in for Rock Slide/Stone Edge?

If you've got Avalanche on Swampert then maybe a curse set is best. One such as

Swampert @Leftovers
Brave
-Curse
-Waterfall
-Avalanche
-Earthquake

Otherwise its pretty good.

^Avalanche already has negative priority, there's no need for a -Speed nature. It ensures you get your first Curse off after being hit by an attack that you may otherwise outspeed with an Adamant nature.

Get rid of the Speed EV'S on Tyrannitar.I know he's slow but there's always a chance for a slower pokemon.

^Yeah, Skuckle, Snorlax, Magcargo, Missingno., etc.

^Missingno isn't real, and you aren't gonna see Shuckle or Magcargo or Snorlax that much at all.

I would suggest that you put X-Scissor over Rapid Spin on Excadrill.

Overall, pretty solid!
Spriter on Fri Jun 17 18:47:36 2011.
Missingno is a glitch that is never seen, so...there PM99999.
Reshurott Inferno on Thu Jul 28 07:57:31 2011.
I was only kidding with the whole 'Missingno.' thing. Just. A. JOKE!!!

Hey, Spriter, Rapid Spin's there to get rid of Stealth Rock and Spikes.
With that statement, why did Spikes and Toxic Spikes, like, disappear from the comp. battling scene anyway?
