The whole "Geronimo" thing...
He says it once, in the trailer. Once. ONE TIME. And already people are claiming it's his catchphrase?

It was also the last thing he said in End of Time. Considering he decided to yell it then, and that it was highlighted in a trailer, and that it is also plastered all over the Doctor Who website... I'm kinda guessing it's his catchphrase.

Right.

Firstly, I loved the episode. Wilf was great in the shooting the missiles bit, and with the tapping on the glass! The rest of it was pretty good too, I liked the weeping angels bit. The Time Lords didn't really do all that much though, did they?

Secondly, Smith isn't that bad on the looks front =] He's quite nice looking really!

I'm very much looking forward to the new series, the trailer looks interesting.

Did anyone notice the 'Star Warsness' of him climbing down the ladder and going to a gun turret opposite his shooting partner?

Still, not bad. Looking forward to next series. Only thing I thought was stupid was him falling 300 feet onto solid stone/marble/unobtainium floor.

Best Doctor Who ending ever me thinks.

David Tennant is the best Doctor...the new guy has some big shoes to fill.

Hopefully the new writer can pull off the whole darker side well...I know the weeping angels will be returning which can only be a good thing :D

^I'd hope that he can, seeing as Moffat is the one who wrote "Blink" in the first place q:
more episode writers can be listed here.
Also.. a confirmation that River Song will return. Holy crap on a.. stick. I did wonder.

The women has got to be his mother for reasons I can't fully explain so I won't.

Word of God says that this was her intended identity [source- #12.. and some other vaguely interesting things]

seeing as i've already posted links to enough nerdy things, may as well post this for series 5 spoilers and information, if you haven't already read it.. which I know that you have D< liars

Ahh so I was right. I had a feeling she was an idea how she could be but I didn't say it.

okay the xmas and new year special was pretty good BUT i'm quite disappointed that he died due to absorbing the radiation, i mean in the whole hype up to it in the whole list of things that could of killed him in that episode, it was that >_<  i mean i really didn't like that =P
new doctor has alot of expectations to live up to i havn't judged him because i havn't sen an episode of him yet and as well as that,  i don't think they would of choosed him if they didn't think he could live up to what he has to do

Personally, I loved that.  In the end, he doesn't die saving the universe, he dies saving one old man.  Such a lovely, humble death for a Doctor more guilty of hubris than any other.  Loved it!

ah, indeed.. though.. not wilf's fault, as i remember someone saying.. as wilf was only in the chamber to let the random scientist guy out.. doctor dying for wilf has a bit more impact than doctor dying for random scientist guy.
well, nothing to do with anything really.

am slightly excited about the new series, indeed.. no airing dates announced yet?

also..
old clip, vaguely to do with doctor who: deadringers impressionist jon culshaw phones tom baker. hilarity ensues.
"a fellow called davros calls me up and keeps asking me if i'm dead.."
may as well post it here q:

Interestingly, originally, the Doctor WAS going to die for a random scientist (called Geoff).  It was only later that Russell T Davies realised how heartbreaking it'd be to see Wilf's face on the other side of the glass instead.

I suspect the new series starts (with an hour-long first episode!) on the third of April.  Easter Saturday - which I think has had a new episode of Doctor Who every year since 2005.

ah, well then. I'm glad of that.
was a splendid selection of scenes thar.

And.. and a new trailer for series 5 is up

it.. I have no idea. Reminds me of a techno music video or something.
or a theme park ride.
Epic, but.. ridiculous epic.
made me laugh, anyway.
most silly.

I'm really not sure about smith's accent. Ah well.. shall get used to it.
no i'm not an "omg smith will be rubbish bring back tennant" person, don't look at me like that.
