i just played free-to-play browser pet games but i don't think those are in vogue anymore

my parents used to tell me games were too expensive. they had plenty of money, they just wanted to make me pick weeds in the garden for $5 an hour. smh child exploitation.

I think Kylos prophecy was correct. I think it was no mistake that Jakku and Tatooine look almost exactly the same. Literally, like they have the same crashed spaceships, rolling dunes... Moisture farms... Kylo is a little over 10 years older than Rey. Kylo was trained by Luke, and even though he began a novice, his power scared Luke. I think Luke had a daughter and then immediately realized she had great power with the force. He remembered his sheltered life on Tatooine and how he almost could have lived a simple life farming moisture instead of getting wrapped up in this. Most of all, he knew if his daughter went to the dark side, he would never be able to kill her - it was hard enough to try to kill his nephew. Luke is Rey's biological father. But Luke didn't raise her, so her real parents were whoever found her when Luke brought her to Jakku. He couldn't bring her to Tatooine - too many traces of Luke and Anakin. So, Jakku it was. Her parents didn't love her though, and eventually sold her for drinking money. That's my prediction anyway

I like Finn but it would have made things real interesting if he did end up dying to save everyone else. I also really wanted Kylo to be good, and I like your point that he actually had a good idea. Who knows, maybe he will have another internal conflict and come around to eventually help Rey somehow, or otherwise align himself as good - we ARE running low on villains, but like you said, Hux still exists

hey nerds how many of you watched the most recent star wars and what do you think? my friends and i haven't shut up about it in a week

i have some serious mixed feelings about the film. Force Awakens, it felt so perfectly like A New Hope, and if you hated that then you're wrong and you missed the point. but it wasn't too gimmicky, it just felt like i was watching socially progressive star wars with more cgi and stuff which im always down for.

The Last Jedi I thought was going to end about 6 times. the pacing of the movie was like... really bad in my opinion. it made the slow parts seem even slower than they had to be. they also had that completely meaningless and convulted subplot where they tried to stop the ships from being tracked but then... everyone just dies anyway?? i get real life isn't sunshine and its trying so hard and getting so far and it doesn't even really matter, but i'm here at the cinema to ESCAPE from real life, pls.

also just gimmicky jokes with those poorly CGI'd Porgs that were definitely only created to sell merchandise. can we go back to using robotics and costumes more and use CGI like frosting on a cake? while i'm being picky, what was the deal with the crystal foxes? they've never existed before this movie to my knowledge and were made up completely for one insignificant plot point that could have easily been communicated like "but how did Luke get in this cave??" without having to throw more random unexplained critters into the mix.

However I was in love with Rey's part, I loved the entire training thing, and most of the main storyline was AWESOME in my opinion. learning more about kylos past was really interesting and i enjoyed learning more about luke's experiences with the force and why he's on that island anyhow. i wish i could say how much i enjoyed the main arc of the story as much as i could talk about all the things i didn't like. i'm excited for the next movie and learning more about how everyone's stories intertwine. theres also a lot of little attention to detail things that are beautiful. like you should have been able to tell Luke wasn't real when he was taunting Kylo because he didn't leave any red footprints like everyone else!

i'd say most of its shortcomings are just a result of me being a spoiled star wars fan seeing an overhyped movie, but what did you think of it

the steam sale just started but because i changed jobs back in the beginning of the month and payroll got all messed up i have literally 1 cent in my bank account and can't buy anything til after christmas ugh life sux

I think I'm on the cusp of getting mega depressed for a couple weeks, just in time for school to start

Idk I had kind of just been hoping that everyone was wrong about my seasonal affective disorder because i've been pretty happy for the past 7 months but now I feel awful... Like honestly I don't even sound like I have SAD. I feel like I just get depressed at totally random intervals. But 7 months was like, my record, so that just makes all of this feel way worse

I don't know, hopefully I'm just in a funk and it's because of other stuff in my life. 40 hour a week job stress, not having enough time to socialize with my friends like i wanna, and as an icing on the cake this ldr I started in Italy is waning really hard and I'm having trouble accepting it. I don't know what I expected to happen in the first place. I always knew ldrs were a bad idea.

I think having other name raters would be a fantastic idea! Of course don't nominate me because my life is so busy right now. But if you look a bunch of names are submitted every day and I think if we had 2 or 3 name raters names would get pushed through quite a bit easier.

I like the idea of Beth being a name rater too, but if we all nominated her then there wouldn't be much of a mystery about who this guy is. If a bunch of 12 year old newbies knew it was Beth pooping all over their favorite nicknames it might be an ish!

they did, at least back when i was the age it was cool to hang out at fast food places. they're gross and crunchy tho not soft and delicious so beware

my past few days have been wake up, work, pokemon go, sleep. it's pretty bad but i mean i'm level 17 and have a bunch of cool pokemon so like

i have a 1333 vaporeon, 1055 lapras, 1021 hypno, 815 vaporeon, 756 jynx, and 600 raticate for my gym battling team

some other highlights include a 486 eevee, 496 slowpoke, 444 eevee, 471 bellsprout, and a 481 drowzee, all of which should be ~1500 when i pop a lucky egg and evolve them all

just letting you guys know by the way if you go over like 15 - 20 mph then the app will stop hatching your eggs, so make sure you're walking / biking to hatch them. Or crawling your way through traffic.

The other day I was walking by a huge group of my peers, like 40 or so playing Pokemon Go. I hit a pokestop and my friends all got eggs, and asked if I got one. I said a bit too loudly, "Dude, I'm absolutely full of eggs!"

I've been having a lot of fun, my friends and I were running all around town from 2 pm to 11 pm today catching pokemon and meeting other trainers. It is INSANE how many people are out playing it in my town. Friday night we had a crowd of 60 but average crowds are like 40 people. The police stopped by again and one of the officers downloaded the app and was asking us for tips and we helped her get started! I love this game, it's so cool, it's really nice to get out and walk around town, meet likeminded people, and then steamroll your enemies' gyms.

i went downtown and there were SO many people playing PGO around town! i ended up setting up a lure and literally like 50 people ended up swarming around it and we ended up freaking the cops out. they came up to our car and shined flashlights at us and were like "oh you guys are playing that new pokemon game? that's fine but you all can't be here and gotta leave" and i'm like damn i spent that money on a lure. but what a time to be alive.

BTW guys, how i got the lures is download google play surveys, they give you like 20 cents for one question surveys, 90% of which are "are you hispanic or latino". it's sick and i've got like $30 from it
