Finally have a day off work so I could spend a bit of time wandering about town with this! Got my ass handed to me at a gym but I did manage to find a Clefairy. Also I've learned more about this town through Pokespots that I have from living here for the past 31 years.

I am all about Popplio. The others are really cute too and I might have to wait until I see the final evolutions before I decide but at the moment I need me that sealion. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I think Popplio's final evo will be Water/Fairy with some kind of circusy theme going on but I maybe way off.
Also Sun's legendary is waaaaaaaaay cooler than Moon's, whatever it's meant to be.
Hyped for this!

I hope they don't do Zygarde dirty and if they're not going to give us a Z version then have Zygarde be involved in Sun/Moon somehow because I need Zygarde Perfect in my life. Especially now it's featured in that new movie alongside Magearna which is almost certainly the first Gen 7 mon.

oh wow so i hopped on tinder because i was sick of meeting guys at clubs because they've been shallow, flaky, and usually not spoken much english and in my swiping adventures i met this kid who went to a college in my state so i decided i'd give him a right swipe even tho i was iffy about it
turns out he's from my hometown, abroad for a semester like me, and he used to have all the same friends as me when he was a freshman and sophomore but i became friends with his old friends after he stopped hanging out with them so i never heard of him. his old friends are still my good friends and we used to do all the same stuff just never together b/c fate and we meet here of all places and can't stop talking to each other
he's taking me out to some craft beer place thursday night, so i'm infinitely hyped.
i can't explicitly say i accomplished something but i feel like i still did... i accomplished going out with a guy this semester who isn't a jerk maybe?
Best of luck! I'm not one for believing in fate but it does seem awfully coincidental that you guys never met at home... I hope it goes well! It would appear I have a date tomorrow night and oh god oh man I'm already petrified.

As pretty much everyone knows I worked in a bookies for years and certainly here in the UK we were constantly made to live in fear of underage gamblers. We were always being tested, either by the company, or the Gambling Commission, or by the police themselves, and knowingly serving someone underage could land the person responsible a hefty fine, if not jail time. (Although my ex manager was sacked for serving someone who showed us a fake ID so even asking for proof of age wasn't enough to stop you getting into bother.) Anyone under the age of 18 wasn't even allowed over the door, even babies in prams. So I imagine Nintendo were probably given little choice other than to censor it.
But as Liz says, it's bit redundant because gambling is everywhere and more available than ever. When I first started my job our opening ours were 10am till 6pm. When I left that had changed to 8.30am till 10pm, and now I hear that the shop opens at 7.30 in the morning. So that's fourteen and a half hours a day someone can go to a bookies and gamble, and then when the shop eventually shuts they can just gamble online instead. But that's another debate for another topic!

I wasn't too fussed about it but I downloaded the demo and it's pretty fun even though I have no idea what I'm doing apart from mash the Y button and press the shoulder buttons when that woman tells you to.

At the moment I'm an assistant dog groomer... it's full time and it pays enough that I can pay my bills and live reasonably comfortably. And once I qualify as a stylist I'll get an extra £1 an hour which is pretty neato... and most of the time is spent dealing with four legged customers which is generally much more preferable than their two legged owners. Though the inch long scratch down my face that I got from a yorkie today makes me question that sometimes.
