Okay, so I'm at the 50k pay rate and have been there for a few days now.
When they first raised my pay to 50k and bumped me up to floor 5, I failed the making beds job. So then they bumped me back down to level 2 the next time I went to do the making beds job. It's been probably like 4 or 5 days since I've been stuck on level 2, in the job making beds, still making 50k though for the job.
My question is, will I ever get put back on level 5 to make beds? If so, how long do they take to put you back on that level? Or do I have to go through level 3 and 4 first?

Okay, I am having the worst time ever trying to figure out how to do this whole pokeradar chaining thing. I looked up information on how to go about chaining pokemon with the radar. And here's what I understand so far.
What to do
1) Find 9x9 patch of grass or flowers
2) Stand in middle of patch and use radar
3) Go to shaking spots only 4 feet away from you
4) Differentiate grass shaking (Impossible to do!  )
5) Only go to grass that shook the same as first encounter(Also impossible to do  )
What not to do
1) Do not go to shaking grass on edges of patch
2) Do not go to barely shaking grass
3) No skates or bike!
4) Do not have encounter with any other pokemon (Are you kidding me?  )
5) Do not go to shaking grass right in front or behind you
6) Do not go too far away from area
Okay, that's all of the tips I could remember from the sources I have read from. I am having so much trouble trying to chain. I'm trying my best to follow the tips/rules of chaining, really I am. But I am finding it absolutely difficult to not run into other pokemon outside of the radar, especially when I'm trying to leave grass or walk towards the 4th patch of shaking grass.
Also, that whole rule/tip about differentiating the way your first encounter's grass shook is ridiculous. How do you figure that out? I can tell the fake shaking grass cause it barely shakes, but the others look completely the same to me. Not to mention they don't shake long enough for me to look at all of them carefully to figure out the difference between the way it shakes.
I find that every time, I encounter my first pokemon and then try to do it again to make the chain work. I always end up randomly encountering a pokemon or going to the wrong patch of grass.
I must be missing some kind of trick here, because I'm kind of getting frustrated a little. I really want to try this whole chaining thing, Shiny blue flower Flabebe is all I want please. If you guys could help me figure out exactly what I'm doing wrong or if the tips I found were incorrect, that would be great.

Okay, pretty much this is a spur of the moment idea that came into my head. Whenever I hear stories either from tv or see scenes in movies, maybe even something I heard from gossip. I always tend to wonder, what I would do in those kinds of situations. So I thought this would be a fun idea for a forum game. If it goes well, that's great, if not no big deal.
Pretty much how it works is, the first person asks a what would you do question and the other person would give an answer in their own post. The answer can be at least a paragraph long or shorter, no need to write an entire book in your post. You can answer honestly or just throw something that comes into your mind, same with the questions/situations. Oh, and don't forget to ask your own question as well.
An Example:
Person A: What would you do, if you were already 3 hours of hard work into a game without saving. But then a family member just came over and turned it off just for giggles?
Person B: I'd cry like a little baby
Okay, I'll start first with a light an interesting one.
What would you do if Nintendo developed a game system just for pokemon, where you could enter a virtual pokemon world as the trainer, with an actual intelligent AI system?

I caught a Honedge in the wild at lvl 42, but my friend refuses to believe me. Saying that in the wild Honedge can only be caught at lvl 25. That's all fine and dandy but I never trained my Honedge since I caught him, he just went straight to my box, he was never on my team either.
So, to get my friend off my butt about it, I'm here to ask everyone for their knowledge. What level in the wild can you catch a Honedge? And if you have caught one, what level was it before you trained it?

Just a random topic, I wanna know what kind of OC's for Pokemon people have come up with either to rp with or just in general. Descriptions are optional, I know it's difficult for me to put them in words myself.For me, I have several Pokemon OCs for a storyline that has yet to make it from inside my head to paper. Though I am having quite fun getting commissions done for them. All of these are original characters I came up with myself, I even have pics that I will share with others.

Exactly as the title says, this is a thread to post your own ideas of how to rejuvenate the pokemon franchise. Now, I'm not saying pokemon is dying, it's still going somewhat strong thankfully. Though I do think it needs a kick me up(kick it hard! >.<).
Here's my thoughts, ever since the Unova region, I have noticed some slacking when it came to pokemon ideas here and there. Nothing major quite yet, but you can definitely spot them a bit too easily, and even now in X and Y. I love the game, don't get me wrong, but whenever I run across some of the pokemon, the first thought that comes to my mind is "are you serious?!"
Fans of pokemon since the first generation know very well that pokemon were originally based off of animals and plantlife, they were suppose to replace them in the pokemon world. Though, now it seems the creators have run out of animals to base pokemon off of and are heading into a weird direction. Come on, don't tell me you guys haven't noticed that twin scooped ice cream cone pokemon? Now, there's nothing wrong with this, okay who am I kidding, it's just plain weird to have a pokemon based off of food. No, just no  .
Next thing you know, we'll be having a pokemon based off of a burger and some fries. Or maybe even one based off of a desk and a lamp. You know what? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they made a pokemon based off of a lamp. I mean, a sword being possessed by a ghost is okay, there is that story of inanimate objects coming to life after 100 years of use in Japanese folklore after all. I have to say, it is kind of funny in a way, I mean, if they continue in the direction they're going, someone could make an entire house out of pokemon. You have your matching pokemon couch, table, lamp, spooky curtain, and even a trusty chair and bed  .
Enough joking around, back to the main subject at hand. One of my idea's I thought of to rejuvenate the series, is for Nintendo to perhaps hold a contest online for fans to submit art for a new line of pokemon for a new region Nintendo has created. Or if that's a bit of a stretch, perhaps just 3 new starters with their evolution or the new legendaries for that region. I also like the idea for a contest to come up with the new hero/heroine for the new region as well.
*Shrugs* It's an idea that I think would help out Nintendo in getting back into that creative feel of pokemon, while also pleasing many fans. I don't know about you guys, but I hang out at deviantart quite a bit, and I see so many people who have such potential in coming up with pokemon ideas. I've seen 5 artists who are completely awesome, they came up with their own line of pokemon(fakemon) who look legit and really cool, they even have descriptions for them.
Some already have come up with their own characters like the scientist, hero/heroine, the rival, and even the bad guys. One guy though had my eyes popping, he literally did an entire layout of his own original region down to every little detail with name and everything. He has characters for that region including bad guys and his own set of pokemon to go with it along with legendaries. I thought that was amazing in itself.
Anyways, what about you guys?
