Updates / CONTENT/COLUMN: So You Want to Make Pokémon?
« on: February 13, 2010, 02:01 »
From the person who brought you such wonderful things as beating Mike at PokéMole twice, comes an all-new vanity project where he tells you what he pays thousands for.

From the jigsaw piece design programs to the OpenGL 3D teapots, to the maths that should be harder than it looks, follow Phil pad his CV in a way that lets you see if you too could make a game people would end up cosplaying as!

From the Information menu at the top, pick that oft-maligned Columns option!

Sure, eventually some of the staff will have been able to learn the coding required to move the site forward, however with the time it would take to do so, we'd still have all the upgrading left to do and iron out any bugs.  I live in hope that Jeroen might one day be able to be convinced to come back and help, but this isn't the time to wonder when he still is resting away from the site's tasks.

But this of course pales before the fact that one of my friends, one of the people from this site who helped me become the man I am today, felt he had to take this step.  That's, like Mike said, not the type of person we could ever replace, nor ever hope to.

Not too sure about the River Song thing; she had that whole red shirt thing going from the beginning - she was too close to the Doctor to keep about, just like Jenny.

Phil has his theories on Jenny.

But!  Phil also has his crush; I thought this was a fantastic episode, really.  Loved Georgia Moffett and hope to see her again this series.  And again, Phil has his theories ... and yes, I know their sense of danger was limited and yes, I know the whole thing with the Hath and Martha wasn't very engaging ... but Georgia Moffett!

Yeah ...

Actually, its the one where the doctor bring that girl back to her time period. And when the girl saw his mother, she was shocked, and that was because she came back to this period 12 months after she left. I did watch through a whole episode, but I just classed it as a boring show.

To me it sounds like Aliens in London.  And yeah, it's boring when you put it like that. ::)

Now ... spoilers.

You prolly know what I'm gonna say ...

But still ...

Spoliers.

I warned you, spoilers.

No turning back now!

Rose comes back! :D :D :D

What you just described the Tennat Doctor as didn't register in my head, Danse_Maxavarious.  Care to expand?

Erm, where does it say that they choose a name at the age of 8?  We don't know when or why they chose these days, only what they meant by choosing those particular names (from The Sound of Drums).

Well at least the Slitheen aren't coming back to Doctor Who (I really hope), but I really wish they wouldn't make more Sarah-Jane adventures, isn't Doctor Who fun enough for kids as it is?

There's a limit to how 'fun' Doctor Who should be?

And they've taken parts of the new series seriously too.  There's the same balance as before.
