Don't under estimate his clothes, Baker has killed Daleks and Aliens with that hat and scarf. ;P

that is why the 11th Doctor is NOT allowed to look like Baker! D:<

With most people saying how much they hate the way he's dressed then...

How would you dress him?

People are still moaning about it? Dress him as a gangsta rapper, then you won't be moaning about how he looks.

But any Doctor is a Doctor; that's why they are picked to do it. You can just judge him by first looks like that; you have to give him a chance. Doctor's don't get their reputations from their dress-code; if they did then not many people would like Doctor Who at all imo. You get the reputation by acting well (or badly), and for making the position your own.

Seriously, it's not about the looks, it's about the acting. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Mate... did you actually just quote yourself there...

I agree with you, I was just thinking that it woulda been better to try and distance themselves as much as possible from the Dave Tennant look.

e.g. Chris Ecclestone (Leather jacket bad-guy look) -> David Tennant (usually in suits) -> Matt (smart jacket and bow-tie)

For me the contrast isn't there

I quoted myself to reiterate my point, I don't think anyone read it before =P

And yeah, I completely agree, there's nothing wrong with the way he's dressed.

It's mostly his giant forehead that throws me off, but dressing a 27-year-old like an crotchety old man just really doesn't work. Besides, did River Song not say to the Tennant Doctor "this is the youngest I've seen you?" Unless she was talking about his dress-sense, I really don't think Matt Freshfromschool Smith fits the part.

Of course, they could have met while the Doctor was in another incarnation, only it wasn't filmed.

Hey, DW novelists! Write that!

Also, Eleven totally got his outfit off Indiana Jones. Look at the parts of the films where Jones is teaching archaeology. His outfit is very similiar to Eleven's.

The next incarnation could be River Song's boyfriend. Besides...I'd personally prefer them never to write anything about River Song. It's so much cooler just to /imagine./

AND OH MY GOD. Just watched the End of Time trailer!!!

The Master. Oh god, they so didn't do him justice in Season 3 imo, now they have such a good chance...

Also, did I see Donna Noble there? Huzzah~

End of Time though...possibility of rewriting all history so as to allow the plot writers to overlook how few daleks / cybermen / classic Dr. Who villains there are left in the world and allow them to all come marching back in HD glory? ooh, *fanboys*

EDIT: The Master is...blonde? Can things get any BETTER?!
