To me as a new pokemon it would have added a lot more to the story of Mewtwo and Mew without tainting a Pokemon that has been loved for how it is for the past 15 years. Whereas as a new forme it doesn't seem as though it can have as deep a meaning to it anymore as well as affecting the original strongest pokemon... I'm no genwunner but I do like Mewtwo as he is.

Well I went from skeptical about Newtwo to loving when I thought it was an all new pokemon. Now I know it's a new forme I don't like it very much at all, surely an awakened forme should look stronger not like a baby version!

I don't think it was ever dimensions. The double helix on the Japanese logo is pretty telling.

Ah, I haven't seen the Japanese logo's yet... This time round I've seen a lot less Japanese info than in the past.

I quite like it, it's different. I shan't like it if it is a new forme, however as a new Pokémon it's like a mix between Mew and Mewtwo; Mewonepointfive anyone?

I also feel as though this new Pokémon kind of tips X and Y in favour of genetics rather than dimensions. But that's just pure speculation.

I'm sitting with a 50/50 opinion on this, I'm not saying this new forme is amazing but I think people are overreacting and seeing it as worse than it really is, simply because it's Mewtwo. As much as a leak like this screams fake I can't believe people are still so quick to call witch after being proved wrong about the Keldeo posters which were made in a very similar to these ones.

I'm gonna have to say Froakie, for two reasons:

A) It's a frog, my second-favourite animal after dolphins (boo for no dolphin pokémon)
B) It's a water-type, my friends call me Misty for a reason.

I was thinking of doing planned playthroughs of both HeartGold and SoulSilver and was wondering what people thought of my teams. I don't need people saying things like "The main game is so easy you can beat it with anything". Also, for a starter-only run which starter is the best and a one-Pokémon only run which would be the best Pokémon to catch?

I'm kind of hoping for the reverse triangle rumour to be true so:

Froakie: Water/Fighting
Chespin: Grass/Dark
Fennekin: Fire/Psychic

But I can't say I would complain if they kept the starters pure all the way through their evolution lines.

As for the legendaries I'm hoping for something along the lines of:

Xerneas: Ground/Psychic
Yveltal: Flying/Dark

And, finally, as for Sylveon I have high hopes for it to be Normal.
